Also tempo matching your Reverb and pairing that technique with this gives you a very tight yet still spacey and deep sound. The tempo matched Reverb keeps the Reverb tail in time or on beat with the song which helps it sound cleaner.

You can also use pre delay to give the attack of the vocals more room to breathe. Depends on if the processor has it tho.

​@@cookiemasta1658coz there's freewill, n based on my experience that plugin makes sound more louder, I get it's a good thing, but where other ppl live it's not a quite place n we spend time tryna remove noise, adding that plugin makes things worse.

It helps a little too but it's really not the same thing. Without side chaining the reverb won't duck when the clear signal is playing so any phrases sang after the first one will still suffer the muddiness of the constant reverb.

@@Remu- yeah that makes sense. But an in time reverb helps eith muddniess but in my opinion reverb is the most important and most beautiful thing. I absolutely hate a dry vocal. I hate hearing myself without reverb. I have to track my self with the reverb send up pretty high in order to find melodies and it helps me perform better as well. Im also new to side chaining and have never done it

@@brettjr9521 Yeah I feel you and you can have a shorter room reverb on your vocal chain but those really long and wet reverbs should be side chained.
