I collected these when they came out, and it is what got me in to comics. I still have my original full set and later in life bought the original art to the Aunt May. It is one of my most prized possessions!
Caught most of the video, great content! I love to learn more about the history of the cards/sets and what actually makes it so special outside of the "money value" or the "grading value".
Honestly, honestly, if they’re in a briefcase, they’re probably in a condition that would not be worth grading. Possibly the best thing to do is see how many complete sets you can make and post for sale on eBay
@@SpideyHits seems like a lot of work. I know the cards are in 9.5/10 condition because I pulled them from the packs years ago and placed the cards in the case. So I did buy sleeves to put some of the cards in and I almost got a complete set ( checklist card says 160 ) I can guarantee I can make 2 full sets with really mint cards -the holos i gave the binder to my cousin.
No sir. Must be graded and achieve PSA 10 for there to be much value at all to collectors. Most seasoned marvel card collectors own 1990s card sets already. Those cards were massively over printed but don’t grade easily. I sent in my “minty” cards and got a bunch of 8s and 9s and almost no 10s.
1990 through 1994 there isn’t many special cards from a monetary standpoint but they are all special from an art and what they have meant to marvel card collectors but there can be some valuable cards but very very unlikely
It feels like a missed opportunity to not tie the comics closer to the cards. Cards that highlight key moments in recent comics, etc Also, highlight specific artists or new upcoming artists as something similar to rookie cards

Thats incredible! If you’re on Instagram reach out to me, I’d love to see it!
Great information on this set. I will always remember seeing these cards strewn around my younger brother's bedroom. They were everywhere
Man these 1990’s cards are going to be something to keep.

Took me 34 years to complete my set. Just got all 5 chase hologram cards for an early father's day gift
That’s awesome man!
Such a fascinating episode.....I'm like half way through
👏
Thanks!
I woke up just in time to miss the stream😢 This is a topic very near and dear to me!
Hope you enjoy the replay my friend!
Great video watched it late but enjoyed it thanks.
It would be great if there was a list of every single card & the artist that drew it. What an Epic show, big Ups to ValorComics, amazing Presser!!!
Thank you so much for the compliment!❤
I loved this shame I had to catch the replay 😢
My dad collected the whole set and some later. This one is in a binder from pack to sleeve holders. I wonder if my collection is worth grading?
Uhh i have about 500 - 1000 of these cards in a briefcase under my bed. Still don’t know what to do with them

How many sets did impel/marvel release of this set? Is there an indicator like 4000 of 4012 set. Just curious..
No sir. I dont believe so. Lots and lots were made tho of 1990 Impel Marvel Universe
I have a small stack of 1990 marvel cards not graded but in perfect condition is there collector groups that might want to bid on them ?

Justin, this was very informative and nostalgic! Btw did you notice on the back of Wolverine card, it says 1st app is Hulk 180 not Hulk 181! 😳
It's true
I have the full collection from 1990-1994
All as new
Wonder if there's a special one 🤔

I have most of the 1990 cards. But I wish all the trading cards after this set had been the same.
I got the whole set, nothing graded but kinda good shape

Great ideas
Hey I got the super rare Stan Lee masterpies lenticular blue spiderman vs venom error card. Psa 9 atleast raw never graded
“The Stan Lee, lenticular” description is throwing me off. Do you mean the Venom vs Spider-man hologram blue color variation?
Either way, congrats!!
Yo what’s up with 1984 marvel superhero secret war sticker cards? Please review them!
I got three Stan lee autograph Mr. Marvel cards
Congratulations!!! Are they pack pulled autos or aftermarket autos? Either way, congrats
👋
