  • In this episode we arrive in Barbados in the Caribbean!
    We are finally rejoined after having been apart for a whole month. Follow along in this episode as we explore a loud, vibrant and beautiful Barbados. We celebrate Chris birthday, snorkel on a tugboat, meet up with boat friends and watch beautiful sunsets. BUT, all is not only sunshine and rum punches we also experience engine problems... AGAIN... And make our way all the way to Martinique. But you will see more of that in the next episode ;)
    Much Love
    Steffi Chris and Leo

    ABOUT US // KNOTVIKINGS :
    We are a family of 3: Chris, Steffi and Leo who left Stockholm in Sweden June 2017.
    This is our story on how we sail our 37ft Najad 37 sailboat from 1981 across the North Sea, down the European coast, through the English channel, Bay of Biscay and lately across the Atlantic.
    OUR STORY
    We took the big step of quitting our jobs and made some major changes in our lives to fulfill our dream of going long distance cruising together. We don't have a set plan on where we are going nor for how long we will be gone, but instead we try to explore the world together as a family and live our lives from day to day as much as we can.
    While uploading this we are currently back in Sweden and have left the boat in Grenada for the hurricane season.
    Stay tuned for a lot more episodes to come!

    So many sailers have fuel issues,it's fairly maddening,but stay patient and work through it,and enjoy the good times😊

    • @KnotVikings
      @KnotVikings  6 лет назад +1

      Yeah so true, if only we had some other way of getting the boat to move forward? 😉 in the next episode we spend a lot of time on the fuel issues and a little spoiler is that we haven’t had that many issues since.

      We hope so! Or he could end up not wanting to step onto a boat at all! ;) No all jokes aside i think he will like it even when he gets older and we are having a blast sharing all this time together!
