- Welcome to second eposide with the Audi S3 from auction .
First I thought I done a mistake buying this , but more and more time I'm looking at it it looks better and better . I spent with Patrick from Saphire Detailing over 70h of labour so far to clean the car inside out , we took the wheels of all the plastic from inside arches and polish the hell out of the 24 year old paint job . Result ? Shocked !

Ming Blue is the colour very nice, paintwork from Audi / VW back then so much better than today, my Bora 53 plate when clay barred and waxed outshines a lot of newer cars, great purchase
I used to own A4B6 in exact same colour, when clean and waxed looks absolutely amazing! Such a nice deep blue metallic is just all you need!
Wow! Great job, it goes to show with a bit of knowledge, the right tools and equipment, sand papers and polishing etc. what can be achieved on a old banger's old paint, I swear that car looks almost new and it will look that good for a few years yet, with the hour's you put in. It's great to see dedication and skills bringing back some of the cars you work on, on this channel, VAG TECHNIC take a bow. 100% a great RUclips channel. 👍

I have a 09' 1.9tdi 8v bxe golf estate, it's still doing it's job 100% perfectly, vag just make cars like they should be made, top to bottom, inside out, great attention to details, I just hope this Ukraine stuff would just end so Europe and everything else can get back to normal, so all of European industries can get back to their great standards again.
I need to do everything in this video to my car soon, it's looking a bit tired these days, I'm really hoping for a 16' plate onward of a Audi A4 3.0tdi soon if possible, but I'll still keep my trustee golf though, great reliable car, served me so well. 👍

Yes Thomas with the rotary perfection holding it flat! Many don’t have a clue and angle the shit out of it and leave buffer trails everywhere 😂

It's sad to see how some owners just abuse these cool old Audis. These type of owners should be only allowed to buy FWD Japanese cars. It's nice to see someone brining this S3 back to life. I'd love to see a Audi version of M539 Restoration. Streten's attention to detail and the care he puts into his restorations are amazing, he's just restoring the wrong brand of cars (lol).
Should have thrown a few coats of clear over the head lights when sanded down, lasts way better than polishing them

You should try the 6000 discs they’re great when doing a big panel like a bonnet cuts polishing time in half
A step up from all of the Polish car washes we have around here, those guys need a lesson in car cleaning from this kid.
Totally different market I used to be right next to a car wash their customers won’t pay detailer prices they want a £20 in and out £80 full valet and a free hand polish and wax you mention paint correction and ceramic prices they run a mile 😂
The holograms isn't from too much heat. It's from product not properly broken down. Compounds are diminishing abrasive. A soft foam pad will resolve on rotary. Fast cut or similar is obviously designed for new or damaged paint

Menzerna - quality cutting compound. The older Audi's paint can take quite a bit of punishment.
G3 PRO SUPERGLOSS PASTE WAX FINISH is Good. The Mop was to hot, spray some fine water oot of a spray bottle. I know someone who sprays an mops car's clay bar's them like new any dents scratches you wouldn't know on brand new motor's, Skilled. My friend has a Audi S3 Mk1 in Sliver with a big turbo. It's fast an going up in value..

So much lacquer on these things eh...Ive got a 2006 A4 with a bonnet that says otherwise. 🤣 im gonna paint it, just wish I had a unit to do it in. I love painting.
