Agreed, I squirrel hunt in early fall and see tons of deer. I filled my tags early this year.

I have killed more deer while wearing crocs than while wearing boots. South Alabama is warm. I don't hunt there anymore, but it was nice hunting without freezing my fanny off.

That sneezing deer probably had a bot fly larvae bothering it.
That’s what I’m guessing. I’ve seen a few that were loaded with bot flies

How high is your platform off the ground usually? What do you find is a good all around height?

Nah, it was just Virginia creeper. It looks similar but is harmless.
