Hate to sound negative but what happened to music of this quality comIng out of Cymru? I seem to recall critics of that time period praising the quality but then turning around an questioning the artist simply because they were "Welsh" (the group Pigyn Clust was an example). I live in the States and have not come across any recordings from Cymru worth buying for about a decade.
My ancestors left the homeland during 1690's but the homeland did not leave us.

Totally in agreement. I sought out recordings fromf Cymru during the 80's and 90's and that's when I became aware the music industry had taken off in another direction. (Celtic musicians started getting younger).
It is now 2024 and I just started to use my cellphone for something useful. It has taken the 'net three days to start feeding me the music I treasured 30+ years ago. Sadly not in stero.
My father's family left homeland in the 1670's with the Quaker movement. My mother's family came over during the early 1700's.

    Hail our ancestors.
    To hell with Rome.
