Hey Guys! Beautiful Film, I love watching your vlogs & they partly inspired me to build my own van. I have been traveling Europe for 4 months now & couldn’t be happier! Regarding Whale Watching, Maui Hawaii is the place to go!! So many whales, you can hear them sing when you put your head under the water! On whale watching tours you‘ll see tons of them, but you can even often see them while you sit at the beach or walk alongside the promenade. I can recommend it truly!
Thoroughly enjoyed this, but especially the Tortuguero part. I'm from the UK but have visited in 2007 (in September so got to see the sea turtles come onto the beach and lay eggs, as well as see babies hatch) and returned over Christmas and New Year 2015/16 as I loved this place so much. Actually spent Christmas day doing the canoe tour you did and somewhat aptly spotted a Jesus lizard! I'd be inclined to agree that even if you're not there in sea turtle season, it's well worth a visit. I think it's so popular as it's relatively easy to get to in comparison to other country's version of the area where it would be days on end in a boat to get to somewhere like that. Looking forward to the next video.
We saw two grays and a humpback whale off the shore of Tofino, BC, Canada. It was a gorgeous sunny calm as glass day, which is super rare there, they were breaching and feeding. Amazing experience... We also see Orca pods quite frequently in the Salish Sea near Nanaimo, BC, Canada.
Thank you so much, Max! 💛 Whenever you visit Costa Rica, I recommend you eat at ‘Sodas’ - that’s what they call local restaurants and so the food there is much cheaper than in touristy restaurants. ☺️ xx Tania

I live in Costa Rica! Such a beautiful place. One needs time here to learn the secrets. Thanks for showcasing some of the wildlife sanctuaries. Pura vida!
Hi guys, love your videos. My partner and I also traveled Scotland, Wales and England in our autosleeper and loved it. We used to live in Tofo, Mozambique. If you are looking for humpbacks, this place is paradise in August, September (and maybe October). They migrate North at that time and there's are literally thousands of them. You can spot then from the beach, splashing and jumping out of the ocean, or you can sail out , or dive where you will also see whalesharks, manta rays, and several types of sharks. A truly unique and beautiful place. Feel free to reach out if you want to hear more ☺️.
Do you want to see Whales, close and personal? Puerto Madryn in Argentina, in season you don’t even need a boat you can see them from the costanera, incredible! Also in the other side of the world, the Gold and Sunshine Coast of Queensland in Australia! Enjoy your trip in Costa Rica, enjoy South America, visit Patagonia if you haven’t been!
For epic whale encounters you guys need to head to Tonga in July/August. The humpbacks go there to breed and calve. We snorkelled with mummas and babies, could hear whalesong in the background on our dives, and saw males breaching in the distance. It's highly regulated and you can only get so close, and only so many people at a time and only for so long so as not to disturb the whales, but the babies particularly are really interested in humans. Also Sri Lanka has Blue Whales - we missed them when we visited, but will be going again in season.
I love how you guys are so respectful to the wildlife. That animal sanctuary has my full respect for putting the animals first before profit. Amazing photography once again guys👍
Hey David! Great to see you again in the comments, glad you came back for part 2 of this series 💛 We’ve certainly got more to learn on how we can do better for our fellow earthlings but visiting sanctuaries like these help educate us, and above all, it means a lot that we can share our knowledge to inspire others to do good too! ☺️✨ Only problem was that I left señor Flamingo at home this time 😂 xx Tania
Humpback Whale tours are best in Newfoundland in early July in Newfoundland - Bonavista peninsula. We watch from our cabin overlooking the North Atlantic. Constant breaching at times.
Your films never fail to inspire us! Such a gift of storytelling - I don't think there's anything that you guys wouldn't be able to make magical! We can't wait to explore this beautiful country too and are really looking forward to your next instalment! Amazing work guys!
Hi Chris & Paloma! 💛 Thank you so much for your super kind & thoughtful message - it means the world that you appreciate our films in the way you do. Thank you for following along 🚐✨ Where abouts are you guys adventuring in your rolling home? Xx Tania
We've seen whales on different occasions, but by far the best place was in the St. Lawrence River in Canada. The river is just full of whales, about 5 different types. We even saw them from our camping spot in Tadoussac.
Love Costa Rica! Our daughter and her husband live in Dominical! (Danyasa Eco Retreat). Have seen whales in many places, but the most breaching whales in Hawaii.
My goodness, living the life in Costa Rica! Incredible wildlife. I've seen Humpbacks several times in the Sea of Cortez off the shores of San Carlos, Mexico - MAGICAL! My sister in Tucson has owned a condo there for many years. Great video♥
Helloo sweet Susan! 🥰 Always love seeing you name pop up in our comments 💛 Our friend Alex & Emma (Travel Beans) have been in Mexico and WhatsApped up pictures on them touching a whale there 😱 It sounds like Mexico could indeed be the winner! 🐳✨ xx Tania
Absolutely incredible! Animals have a special place in my heart, so this one is incredibly special. I am so glad you were able to successfully see the whales this time. I know you will be get the shot on your next whale adventure. As always, wonderful videography. It makes you feel like you are there with you. I can't wait to visit Costa Rica and go to your recommended spots!
I am from Costa Rica and many Ticos do not know many of the wonderful places that we have so close within our own country. Excellent video. I liked it above all because it is different from many others that are only limited to showing places, but in your case, apart from showing landscapes, animals or everything that seems interesting to you, they are a lesson in life and encourage responsibility. that all humans must have towards and with nature and its inhabitants, both flora and fauna. S notes that they investigate and inform themselves of very important aspects for everyone to know. At first, I really liked it because they clarify and emphasize that in Costa Rica it is forbidden to have animals in captivity (note from me: even circuses that present shows with animals are not allowed). Interestingly, it is the Latin American visitors who often visit these animal rescue centers or sanctuaries and comment that it is a pity that in Costa Rica they have them locked up, that happens because they are not even informed and irresponsibly spread that ignorance to the entire world. I congratulate you again excellent quality and edition.
Thank you so much, Joel! Still holding onto the wonderful comments you left under our Wales films. Great to that you’re still following along - we appreciate you. 💛 See you for the next one! xx Tania
@@JitsIntoTheSunset in Exmouth on the North West coast of Western Australia.....in April 2019....with a company called 3 Island Tours....fantastic experience....very overwelming to be so close to such a huge peaceful animal 😀
We are always excited to see your name pop up in our comments! ✨ The one you left us under our Czech Republic film is screenshotted and saved 💛 Thank you for watching & showing us your support! Xx Tania
That's so sweet! I genuinely mean it though, ye are just so talented! I am just so drawn to the brilliance you both produce! You're both on another level! Safe travels guys!
Wow! I don’t think I’ve ever seen a bobcats!🐱 It’s interesting how the more we travel, the more of the world we realise there is to see. 🗺💕 Thank you Janelle for always watching & taking the time to comment! 💛 xx Tania
I LOVE whales! I have been on so many trips centered around whale watching. Favorite places: San Juan Islands, Washington, USA - to see the orcas Puerto Vallarta, México - to see the humpbacks The Azores, Portugal - to see sperm whales, fin whales, and blue whales Galápagos Islands, Ecuador - several different whale species - a trip of a lifetime!
We've been whale watching a few time and the best trip was from Victoria on Vancouver Island, We saw a really good sighting of a pair of humpbacks and a large pod of Orca including a couple of calves. We also saw the humbacks attack the Orcas which was only the second time this had been observed anywhere in the world. We also saw two species of sealions, elephant seals, harbour seals and sea otters.
Hey Pete! Wow that’s crazy! Must have been quite startling to witness. 😳 Any idea why this happened? I guess like all animals, they can always get territorial if they feel like they are being threatened. 🐳✨ xx Tania
@@JitsIntoTheSunset No one knows for sure. Orca do hunt humpback calves so it might just be the humpbacks showing them who is boss to keep them away when they have young in much the same way elephants will chase off lions
So nice that this place takes in the animals to give them the best life they can have. Costa Rica is beautiful and great fishing as I am a fisherman to catch and release sailfish. I would stay in a swimming pool not food for Crocodiles!!!
Hi Craig! Absolutely, Alturas Sanctuary really do a brilliant job! Realising 2,000 animals back into the wild in one year, of the back of donations and fundraisers alone is testament to their hard work & dedication! 🐒🦥💕 xx Tania
So for kicks, I just watched this through my VR headset. Wanted to see how your amazing cinematography would look. WWWWWOW! It was like I was watching in an IMAX. It really felt like I was there with you guys. Definitely recommend it to anyone else who’s got a headset. And shout out to Tania the chilli sauce queen 🙌 By the way, I did whale watching in South Africa. Loads of breaching shots. Well worth a visit. Love your films guys. Keep ‘em coming!
No way!! This is so cool! 😱✨ You’ve gotta be the first person who’s experienced our films in VR! We feel absolutely honoured. 🌟 I really appreciate the title of Chilli Sauce Queen 👸🏽🔥🌶😂 I wanted to say thank you for recommending that we visit Montezuma in the comments section of our Slovenia film. I added it to our itinerary as soon I read it. You were right about the howler monkeys - they are everywhere! 🐒💕 And finally, South Africa… 100% on our list! We’d love to rent a 4WD there too… need to safe up for the trip cause we’d probably need a long stint there! 💛 xx Tania
@@andyamadeo6045 Absolutely! We read all our comments! Even if we cannot respond straight away, we value them. 💛 And yes… absolutely LOVED Montezuma! 🌴✨
Hey Nick!! It’s wonderful to see your name pop up here in the comments section. Thanks so much for tuning in and the kind words. 🥰 We’re sending you love and hope you’re keeping well! 💛 Xx Tania
Love love love your work! Watching from Quebec City, Canada. You can do awesome whale watching in Tadoussac, right by the fjord. You’re welcome anytime!
Thank you very much, Manon! 💛 We are quite certain that Canada is on the cards given so many people’s wonderful recommendations! 🥰 We happy accept your warm welcome, thank youuuuu! 🇨🇦 ✨ xx Tania
What great work the animal sanctuaries do. All the helpful locals too. Beautiful filming of the wildlife. I’m sure you’ll get a picture of the whale some day! Looking forward to your next video. I’m watching from near Glasgow in Scotland and I love lots of animals especially deer. Stay safe!
Hi Linda! So lovely to see your name here in the comments - thank you for always taking the time to do so. 💛 We love deer too - such special creatures! 🦌✨We met so many on our Scotland road-trip, you’re lucky to call it home! 🏴💕xx Tania
Angela, hi!! The fact that you’ve commented on pretty much every single one of our videos means the world to us. 🥰 Thank you so so much for always showing up to support us! 💛 xx Tania
Fantastic filming Tania and Adam as always. It was so nice to meet you two at the sanctuary, hopefully our paths will cross again in the near future. Keep up the good work! We're following you from Malta :)
Hi Paul! It was so so lovely to meet you & Betti at the Sanctuary! 🦜✨Thank you again for thinking to reach out & invite us. The whole experience was a huge highlight of our Costa Rica adventure! 💛 xx Tania
Hi Tania Adam I have always wanted to see a real sloth. We have lots of crocs both fresh and salty, and the whale watching off the coast of Qld is amazing and the operators know this and charge accordingly, that Carolina Reaper has been known to melt your teeth🤩🤩🤩. Take care stay safe cheers from Australia 🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺❤️
Wow, Barry! You’ve heard of Carolina Reaper before?! 😱 Have you tried it?!? 🌶🔥🥵 Thanks a million for the whale watching tip. 🐳 You know Adam and I are keen to head down under, so will most definitely add this to our itinerary! 🤓💕 Hope you get to see a sloth one day soon 🦥✨xx Tania
@@JitsIntoTheSunset No I haven’t tried it but they run completions to see how many you can eat it’s quite a big thing. Certainly hope you do come to Australia one day it truly is amazing country. 🤩🤩🤩❤️
Great video again! Glad you got to see humpbacks, they are amazing! The best place I've been for humpback whale watching was Maui, February is the best month. It was unbelievable! Followed closely by grey whales and common dolphins in their 1000s at Monterey Bay, California. They also get killer whales and blue whales there in the summer months, which is definitely still on my bucket list!
I’m not sure what part is my favourite, the amazing cinematography or Tania’s lovely sing song voice :) Please don’t make me choose lol Whale watching is high on our bucket list. We have been to St. Andrews, New Brunswick and it was pretty amazing. Sadly it was our back up plan as our first choice was the whale route in Quebec. It is 1250n km long from Tadoussac to Blanc-Sablon. There are 13 different species known to venture this area. Some you can even see from shore, Keep up the amazing work !!!!
The best whale watching ive done is in costa rica off the guanacaste peninsula. Or in South Africa I didnt do a boat trip but from the cliff paths & beaches ive seen the most whales fully breaching out the water.
Hey Abigail, thank you for watching! I do think we might have been unlucky because we took the tour at the tail end of the whale season (excuse the pun 🤪). Perhaps if we had arrived to Costa Rica earlier, we would have caught the full show. 😍 A few others have suggested South Africa, so thank you for reinforcing that. I really, really want to explore there. ✨ xx Tania
@@JitsIntoTheSunset highly recommend south africa! Been many times! The coastal route around the southern peninsular is well worth it! Soooo much wildlife and the northern border area is amazing too!! Cape point you might get Orcas! Hermanus is where my late grandparents lived and you will see many species of whales including humbacks, southern rights & even brydes. HERMANUS IS A MUST SEE!! You can take a kayaking tour and see seals even too!! And more 😍🐋🐳🐬🦭🦈 Great white sharks as well!!!
@@abigailcooper9244 Oh wow! Thanks so much for sharing such detailed recommendations - appreciate it very much 😍 xx T Ps. I’m so down to see great white sharks! 🦈✨

You guys! Have been glued to the last two videos. I would highly recommend Bahia Drake for amazing humpbacks. We caught the very first whales of the year there, and we were just out snorkeling by Caño Island. Put up my drone up and was able to capture the most epic footage of momma and her baby 🐳🐋. Let me know if you need somewhere to stay i f you decide to go. Keep up the great work!

Hi . Love your videos . If you still want to watch Whales you can visit Sri Lanka. There is no season for the whale watching since they can be seen all around the year . Also Canda have good whale watching sights . You can search more .Much Love
I’ve seen whale in Tromsø, northern Norway!! In January, a few years ago! It was amazing!! You should go there in winter, and watching northern light every night as well!❤️ Love your videooosss!!!
Hi Deborah! Thanks so much for your message 😊 wooow! Whales in Tromsø sounds amazing! Norway is very, very high on our list! We hope to make it there sooner rather than later! 😊 Adam
You guys make such beautiful videos. I mean Costa Rica is a beautiful subject lol, but honestly they are so cinematic. If we ever find each other on the road I'm going to glean some serious videography and edit skills from Adam!
Loved it guys!!! 💜💜 brings back such good memories. Like you said, the whale watching day was just the best experience 🐳. Loved to see the footage of the animal sanctuary as well! 🤩 X Erik & Lisa
Hermanus in South Africa and Kaikoura in New Zealand are the best places for whale watching and you don't even need a tour, they regularly appear so you can easily spot them from the beach. It's surreal 😆
Whaaaaaat?!?! That’s amazing!! I can’t even imagine how surreal that would feel to be strolling on the beach and then see them. Thank you very much for the recommendation! 🌊🐳💕 xx Tania
Brilliant video as always guys👏🤗. Depends what 🐳Whales you want to see?... Best orca whale watching I did was off the west coast of Canada, near Vancouver Island, because there are resident orca whales there. You see loads of bald headed eagles🦅 fishing for salmon🐟 there to. The best place I did humpback whale🐳 watching was Hervey Bay, Queensland on the east coast of Australia... It was amazing.. The dolfins annoyed the whales so they were very active.. Springing out of the water, coming up right next to our boat, breaching etc. Kaikoura on the west coast of New Zealands South Island is great for Sperm🐳 Whales.. I back-packed in NZ twice, but unfortunately didn't have the time to do it.. I did dolfin watching on the north Island (Was supposed to be swimming with them, but they had young, so we couldn't). Everyone that has done whale and dolfin watching in Kaikoura raves about it.

I know you will be get the shot on your next whale adventure. As always, wonderful videography. It makes you feel like you are there with you. I can't wait to visit Costa Rica and go to your recommended spots!
Aww sweetest Amanda, thank you!! Your words always mean so much to us 💛 We appreciate you for supporting us through & through! 🥰 xx Tania
Best place I saw about 50 whales breaching, blowing, talking to each other on a July day in Bonavista bay in Newfoundland, best ever!
Guys, you need to do the volcanoes tour, Irazú, Poás, Arenal, Rincón de la Vieja. The views and sunsets from the top are out of this world.
Brings back so many memories for us 👍❤️ We loved our time in Costa Rica... Hi guys... New sub from the Looney Mooney crew in Australia 👋🇦🇺
Incredible film, as always! Can't wait for part 3!
Thank you so much, Joel! Still holding onto the wonderful comments you left under our Wales films. Great to that you’re still following along - we appreciate you. 💛 See you for the next one! xx Tania
Another beautiful and inspiring video!
We loved this vlog guys. We swam with Whalesharks which we loved. They are all so beautiful. 🧡
Thank you so much, you two!! 💛 Oh my goodness, that must have been an incredible experience. Where and when did you get to swim with them? 🐳💕Xx Tania
@@JitsIntoTheSunset in Exmouth on the North West coast of Western Australia.....in April 2019....with a company called 3 Island Tours....fantastic experience....very overwelming to be so close to such a huge peaceful animal 😀

We thought the very same, Gill! The sweetest ‘guard’ dog we could hope to run into. 😍🐶 Thanks for watching! Xx Tania
Beautiful Costa rica ❤
I've been so excited for this! Watching part 1 first, can't wait to follow up with part 2!!
So lovely to see your name pop up in the comments here, Krys! 🥰 Hope you enjoy this series 😚🌴💕 xx Tania
Wow, stunning photography-like always. Thank you both so much! Colorado also has some amazing wildlife...had some bobcats in my yard the other day!
Favorite places:
San Juan Islands, Washington, USA - to see the orcas
Puerto Vallarta, México - to see the humpbacks
The Azores, Portugal - to see sperm whales, fin whales, and blue whales
Galápagos Islands, Ecuador - several different whale species - a trip of a lifetime!
Thank you for your beautiful videos centered around appreciating nature and humanity - you are true artists gifted at cinematography!
Costa Rica is stunning 😍 Beautiful filming as always 💛
Thank you so much! 💛 I notice you always take the time to leave us comments after watching our films - we appreciate you! ✨ xx Tania
Well done guys. Another beautiful and perfectly made video.
With the only hiccup being Adam saying once that he is going to hunt for whales 😅
And finally, South Africa… 100% on our list! We’d love to rent a 4WD there too… need to safe up for the trip cause we’d probably need a long stint there! 💛 xx Tania
No, but I want one now 😁
@@JitsIntoTheSunset Awe, so flattered that you took me up on my recco. Hope Montezuma didn’t disappoint. 😊
@@andyamadeo6045 Absolutely! We read all our comments! Even if we cannot respond straight away, we value them. 💛 And yes… absolutely LOVED Montezuma! 🌴✨

🏴💕xx Tania

Awesome video, can't wait for part 3 😁❤️
Angela, hi!! The fact that you’ve commented on pretty much every single one of our videos means the world to us. 🥰 Thank you so so much for always showing up to support us! 💛 xx Tania
Hermanus South Africa is the best place to view the Southern Right whales as they migrate along the coast you can literally see them from the cliffs .
I Love You two😊
You’re very sweet, thank youuuu 💛 xx Tania
Fantastic filming Tania and Adam as always. It was so nice to meet you two at the sanctuary, hopefully our paths will cross again in the near future. Keep up the good work! We're following you from Malta :)
Hi Paul! It was so so lovely to meet you & Betti at the Sanctuary! 🦜✨Thank you again for thinking to reach out & invite us. The whole experience was a huge highlight of our Costa Rica adventure! 💛 xx Tania
The best place I've seen Wales was phewelli it was very nice 👌
SE Alaska in the summer months is a great place for whale watching plus Orca’s, Brown & Black bears and many eagles.
Absolutely stunning as usual. You will have to come to australia to see some awesome Wales
❤️❤️❤️
This Costa Rica series has Been SO GOOD! I’m just catching up with them! I literally love everything you guys do hehehe 🌷🌷🌷😍
@@barrywatler7482 oh wow! I know about those crazy competitions. That’s where I draw the line. 😂 xx T
Thanks
You’re always welcome, William! 💛
Beautiful video…. We have awesome whale 🐋 watching in Australia 🇦🇺 here in Queensland in Hervey Bay, July to November
I’m not sure what part is my favourite, the amazing cinematography or Tania’s lovely sing song voice :) Please don’t make me choose lol
Whale watching is high on our bucket list. We have been to St. Andrews, New Brunswick and it was pretty amazing. Sadly it was our back up plan as our first choice was the whale route in Quebec. It is 1250n km long from Tadoussac to Blanc-Sablon. There are 13 different species known to venture this area. Some you can even see from shore,
Keep up the amazing work !!!!
You guys are getting so good at these videos. Tania has the captivating voice, Adam has the video skills of a professional documentarian. Another great video 👍🏼
Aww you are so so sweet! Thank you, thank youuuuu 💛 Your words of appreciation mean a lot to us! 🥰 xx Tania
@@JitsIntoTheSunset I found you guys through your colab with TravelBeans and Kinging-It. I can’t get enough of you all, but not forgetting the Rolling Radfords!

Here in Florida, those snake birds are called Anhingas. We see them any time we are near the water.
Hey Vincent! I did see that when I googled them but soon realised that I wouldn’t be sure how to pronounce Anhingas, so opted with Snakebird instead. Plus is sound so badass! 😱✨ Thanks for tuning into our series and taking the time to leave us a comment! 💛 xx Tania
Keep up the great work!
hello you 2 !! Nice to meet you first time :) I am located in Spain- Fuerteventura Iland. My best whale watching I had on an Caribian Iland. = the Domenican Republic !!! ...highly recommend.
Good luck & sunny greetings from me, Yvonne :)
You should go there in winter, and watching northern light every night as well!❤️
Love your videooosss!!!
Love the videos guys. Whales viewing recommendation. Maui in January. Full breaching mode activated. Not a bad location to tour around either 😁😁
Bueatyful loved the views
Thank you, Anita! Glad you enjoyed watching 🌴✨ xx Tania
Bay of Fundy Canada!! So many great options but recommend doing a Zodiac tour-Ocean Explorers with Captain Tom is an amazing biologist!!
if you like orcas the sunshine coast is a great spot, and if you are luck enough you can spot them from any of the farries that crisscross that area.
I love this!
