Man, this is my first time seeing the old Ultramen in their original shows and I was not expecting them to just straight up slice the enemies in half or into a few pieces so casually and for some reason, seeing these things makes me feel that they are a lot more powerful than the newer Ultras as the newer series have the Ultras take on the the monsters and "sizing up" their opponents which leads to the battle being dragged out for very long or them being defeated. The older Ultras are like "Murder first, explanation never" and they will proceed to yeet the monsters.
The last part are hilarious accurate(Murder first,explanation never) But also,who would think yeeting the monster led to a dead monster in Original? XD
Two outcomes, one outcome is the new generation really is weaker, but the second is a major power creep. We’ve seen the monsters get massive power boosts as the franchise goes on. Pit original series ultraman against belial atrocious and see how it turns out

As a kid I used to watch Ultraman but now seeing all of my favorites in one video impressed me because I forgot how many Ultraman there have been over the year
Man I can't forget the kaiju moves from the first editions 66'-67'. This kaiju movements are inprinted in my memory and I loved it . But my favorite was Megaloman from 79', nice memories.

Noa/Nexus is my all time fav, so im annoyed that they left out most of his attacks. Nexus's Bow, Sword and Chest Beam were all left out. Noa wasnt even shown, the showed Ultraman The Next instead. And Noa's finisher is cool af!
I don't know about y'all but Ultraman Nexus is one of my favorite Ultraman's ever. Like it sad for the show to end on an early note. And that was only because people didn't like it...like wtf dude it was actually really good. I guess people didn't like the dark side or should I say a more adult version of the Ultraman series compared to the stuff now which are for kids.

My favorite moment in Ace was when he punched a hole though a monster, chopped off its head, and for some reason, THEN shoots his beam causing it to blow up to smithereens. Ace was ruthless as hell lmao
This is honestly incomplete, but it does still have a good amount of them. Still, there are still some obvious omissions, like Orb Origin's and Agul's. And I get why some of them are missing, each ultra has, like, 10 different finishers, but I'm still surprised that some of the essential ones are missing.

Ultraman Tiga was my first tiga.. looking back at the others, tiga was a clear cut amongst the previous ones. The finishing move was flashy, the monsters looked better, and the explosion effects were also great. And the costume fits better
59 YO here, and I can remember watching the OG Ultraman, back in the 60's early 70's. I'm pretty sure it was edited, because I don't remember the brutal slayings of the Kaiju, just that Ultraman shot his various light beams and blam, the monster died. This and Johnny Sokko and His Flying Robot were the two Japanese Kaiju shows I remember watching as a kid.
That part for Ultraman Noa should be for Ultraman Next, and lack a session for Noa. For Ultraman Tiga, there should be power mode and sky mode instead of red and purple. Ultraman(1966) has a more powerful finisher released at his right fist, named Ultra Attack Ray. And yeah, appreciate your work!
When I was a child, seen this show was always amaze me. I like how the fireworks effect when they were destroyed, the vehicle and the sountracks. One day, I was thinking about something stupid (I guess)., it goes like, "If those Kaiju were living things, that means they supposed to bleeding after get hit by those light, instead of blown up like that." But after watch this, I give my thanks to Ultraman Tiga and the next Ultras ahead for not slacing them like that T_T. It's horror and annoyed to watch. (I guess, Ultraman Cosmos did suit me.)
The Next and Noa are technically one and the same Ultra , Next is just a weaker version of Noa and Noa is both Next and Nexus true form. to be honest you could just call Next and Nexus "Noa" since those 3 are one entity
@@youraveragemachine1013 Noa and Next finisher is a bit similiar they charge the energy in front of the chest then extend the arm to the right/left, but the similiarity ends there, the difference are that The next hand extend position is diagonal, while Noa hand extend looks more similiar to his color timer that resembles a "V" shape, and noa has that left hand horizontal rotation to the left, and his right hand is getting ready by placing it vertically.
I wish Japan starts making these types of films in full CGI to make it more realistic. I understand that rubber suits & miniatures are a STRONG movie tradition, but if they want to compete further, they need to make them more realistic & get away from their movie-making past. This is why the latest Legendary Pictures 3 Godzilla movies, starting in 2014, made it big at the box office. It is realism, due to CGI. Had Legendary still used the rubber suit, it would have been seen as too campy, too traditional & not updated, thus probably not making as much profit. I'm sure that budget has a lot to do with it & Ultraman's production studio may not have that type of money. The reason Godzilla actually even got to get made in CGI was because of Toho's 10-year hiatus of not making Gz. The outcome from that catapulted the Godzilla franchise even further, again, due to realism. We are not in the 1960's & 1970's anymore. Whatever the case, if Tsuburaya or whoever owns Ultraman, could lend this franchise to Legendary... the result could be, well, legendary. We would get to see another mecha/kaiju franchise break away from the past & into the present. And I would love to hear Seo Taiji's "Ultramania" as part of the music score for it, perhaps during the intro & end credits, that would make it even more awesome, heh.

I remember watching ultraman every Saturday growing up decades ago. Tokyo got half destroyed by the monster and the fight and then next Saturday it was all rebuilt before the next monster came! Always amazed by that.

@@youraveragemachine1013 Noa and Next finisher is a bit similiar they charge the energy in front of the chest then extend the arm to the right/left, but the similiarity ends there, the difference are that The next hand extend position is diagonal, while Noa hand extend looks more similiar to his color timer that resembles a "V" shape, and noa has that left hand horizontal rotation to the left, and his right hand is getting ready by placing it vertically.

My favorite will always be the original Ultraman, I grew up watching him and 8th Man. Being 67 that's showing my age 👍
I wish Japan starts making these types of films in full CGI to make it more realistic. I understand that rubber suits & miniatures are a STRONG movie tradition, but if they want to compete further, they need to make them more realistic & get away from their movie-making past. This is why the latest Legendary Pictures 3 Godzilla movies, starting in 2014, made it big at the box office. It is realism, due to CGI. Had Legendary still used the rubber suit, it would have been seen as too campy, too traditional & not updated, thus probably not making as much profit. I'm sure that budget has a lot to do with it & Ultraman's production studio may not have that type of money. The reason Godzilla actually even got to get made in CGI was because of Toho's 10-year hiatus of not making Gz. The outcome from that catapulted the Godzilla franchise even further, again, due to realism. We are not in the 1960's & 1970's anymore. Whatever the case, if Tsuburaya or whoever owns Ultraman, could lend this franchise to Legendary... the result could be, well, legendary. We would get to see another mecha/kaiju franchise break away from the past & into the present. And I would love to hear Seo Taiji's "Ultramania" as part of the music score for it, perhaps during the intro & end credits, that would make it even more awesome, heh.

I remember watching ultraman every Saturday growing up decades ago. Tokyo got half destroyed by the monster and the fight and then next Saturday it was all rebuilt before the next monster came! Always amazed by that.
