with light engine for last lime train to Margam

Another go at recording the last DB Cargo Gypsum empties via Leeds to Tyne Dock. Again it turned out not to be the last!
We have a quick look at Locomotive Services depot at Carlisle Upperbyand then to the station.
A highlight is the convoy of five 66s heading from Tyne Yard to Carlisle Yard apparently for use on engineering works in Scotland.
The times shown on clips are for guidance only and shouldn't be taken as definitive.
Any observations are my own and not intended to show any authority and may show my misunderstanding.

Oh lets stop primary steel making in the UK? So we now do not want any limestone flux. Loss quarry jobs, railway jobs. We shut down the coal mines so we buy coke from outside UK , so there is a saving. We also shut down the iron mines and buy that from outside UK, another saving. So we are left with electric steel making with UK the most expensive energy in the developed world? And if you do not grade scrap correctly when used for electric steel a lot of expensive rare elements are lost to lower grade melts.
