I love this gimbal. It's like most of my prayers were heard and were implemented in this cool device. If to be picky I'd like to be able to assign 'tilt' to that big wheel which is in my filming has no use at all for now. But anyway I'm more than happy to have it and use it. The best!

Really smart how the gimbal moves that motor to the rear for wide angle shots! A potential issue (same as the Zhiyun Tech) is that the end of the phone butts up against a stop. I use a wireless mic with an adaptor on the end of the phone. So the question is, can you slide the holder to find the balance point if the phone is off-center?

I'm looking to buy my first gimbal and I have newbie question: say I'm shooting a shot in a living room with a cathedral ceiling and I'm trying to create a shot that lets me walk in a few feet (while doing a nice slow turn to take in the room) and finish by tilting up to the beautiful chandelier above. The question is: is there a way to tell the gimbal to pan up to the ceiling whilst in motion? (I saw the that the tilt wheel will change the axis to initiate a spin motion; can it be used for a tilt motion, or is there some other way to initiate a tilt motion?)
Oh nice. You can use the joystick if you push it up gently. Otherwise you could put the gimbal into FPV mode and slowly pan up then the gimbal will move with your motion.
My Xiomi 13 ultra crop heavely when Electronic stabilzation is "ON". so i turned it off and use my DJI OSMO6. not sure if other phones has the option ti turn off E-stabilization. at the begining i didnt understand why the video look like 28mm but soon i made it 24mm. the main issue with this phone is the center of gravity, the camera module is hevey and the gimble is not balanced. also the provided Bracket Buckle cant hold the camera module its not fit The DJI App? does not suport LOG mode so i dont use it
It’s not really designed for action cameras though the GoPro H11 fits, but you wouldn’t be able to access the rear screen. You’d be better off with the iSteady Pro 4 ruclips.net/video/YgWZzgV2TsE/видео.html

I see that you use filmic pro with that gimbal.. my idea is to use filmic pro to record in manual mode, with an anamorphic lens and set to 24 fps and shutter at 1/48.. About my only disappointment is while there is an automatic switch between landscape and portrait mode the result is not truly flexible. To get a matching performance of the gimbal in portrait mode that truly compares to its performance in landscape mode It requires that the phone is physically removed from its holder, the holder of rotated, the phone place back in a relatively different position. The whole thing then needs to be balanced again. Rather tedious. Perhaps a firmware update in the future may correct this anomaly.
I really like the look of this gimbal, but I can’t see me ever buying it due to one design flaw with it. You can’t connect an external mic to your phone like the DJI Mic system as the arm of the gimbal blocks the lightning or USB-C port. I take it that it doesn’t have any kind of workaround?

I've had this Gimbal a few days and am slowly learning how it works although mine seems to lock the rotation, and when I unlock I sometimes will get error code 03 and it has over heated.. Maybe I'm not holding it correctly but seems okay slowly moving then it will lock on rotation, get error code 03 then I have to unlock again to continue Anyone else having problems or am I doing this?
@@TamaraGabrielUK yeah I balanced it correctly and then unlocked it by turning as you do, and flicking down the switch at the back it, but in certain modes when I am manually moving it around it will lock at the back, and I just get an error maybe it's the way I'm turning it And when I tripple click the trigger to re adjust the phone my ai sensor slightly touches the gimbal and that stopped it from rotating properly which caused the error too So I have to take the ai sensor off before I triple click the trigger But yeah pov mode seems okay, other modes it seems to manlfunction at certain ways I'm trying to hold it. Using oppo find x5pro without a case so should be fine

I think it's the button is not working properly, when I flick it down, from locked it doesn't sit flush at the bottom, it's half in the middle and I can still move it, I can see it isn't unlocking properly, is yours flat to the bottom with a visible unlock sign? Update: Just looked at someone else's gimbal, yeah the locking switch has a mind of its own it's dodgy so it's locking and overheating the motors. It's not me it's just dodgy lock 🔒 that's good cos other than that I absolutely love this Gimbal, first ever one

I hope DJI Pocket 3 will have external optional tracker. It would save CPU power analyzing video while recording. Pocket 2 CPU can't handle it. It is bottle neck and thats why Pocket 2 tracking is useless.
Great review. Thanks! I love the payload capacity and ultra-wide mode to get the gimbal head out of the way. However, my biggest hang up, is the oddly implemented motion lapse feature. Unless there is a better control method for motion lapse within the Hohem app similar to DJI’s implementation, its a no go for me :(. That A-B button thing is just… NO. Such a shame that the OM6 has such limited movement and cannot handle the weight of an iPhone 14 Pro Max and the full suite of Sherpa lenses. Otherwise it would be the perfect gimbal in my opinion. Nobody else seems to nail the motion lapse ability quite like DJI does.

Just looked at someone else's gimbal, yeah the locking switch has a mind of its own it's dodgy so it's locking and overheating the motors.

I hope DJI Pocket 3 will have external optional tracker. It would save CPU power analyzing video while recording. Pocket 2 CPU can't handle it. It is bottle neck and thats why Pocket 2 tracking is useless.
Let’s hope there’ll still be a Pocket 3…

Great review. Thanks! I love the payload capacity and ultra-wide mode to get the gimbal head out of the way. However, my biggest hang up, is the oddly implemented motion lapse feature. Unless there is a better control method for motion lapse within the Hohem app similar to DJI’s implementation, its a no go for me :(. That A-B button thing is just… NO.
Such a shame that the OM6 has such limited movement and cannot handle the weight of an iPhone 14 Pro Max and the full suite of Sherpa lenses. Otherwise it would be the perfect gimbal in my opinion. Nobody else seems to nail the motion lapse ability quite like DJI does.
