I don't understand this man at all. He threw away a good woman who loved him. He threw her into the arms of his friend. His friend sees that she's a prize and a wonderful woman and falls in love with her. Now he wants her back because his mom says he should get married, and give that bracelet to the girlfriend? This guy is such a loser and it's not because he's not wealthy. It's because he's a jerk! He doesn't think about anyone, accept himself. Even in this ridiculous proposal, it was still for his benefit, not for her, not because he loves her and can't live without her.
