Synopsis:

I do not feel any empathy for this man. He humiliated his wife in public & in front of his mistress. He moved in with his mistress despite being married. When his life fell apart and his mistress sold him out, it was his wife who was there for him. I'm am glad she showed him what he threw away before divorcing him. She handled herself well in the face of letting him go. I hope there will be more dramas where the woman is portrayed in a more strong light.

I love the way the wife handled the separation from the husband. Love their ending too. In most cdramas, husband is forgiven after asking for forgiveness. In this drama, the wife is strong and does not want to go back to the cheating husband. The way she was slapped by the husband in front of the mistress to me is unforgivable and cohabiting with the mistress while still married is a no no. He should have waited to be divorced before living in with the mistress. His losing his job and getting sick is a wake up call for him but too late to go back to his wife and kid.
He is only sorry and want to start over because the mistress ran away. If every is still good for him, he wouldn’t come back for her.

From a man/separated husband/father point of view, I am in favor of the wife’s decision. Slapping/ hurting your wife in front of a mistress is totally irrelevant and disgusting. How DARE he is, if I were the Father/Brother of his wife he’s gonna be landed in the hospital. He had no right to lay a hand on or harm your other half. Although I’m separated, never in my life hurt my ex-wife. A complete RESPECT and Mutual Understanding are the key words.

But regardless of any underlying reasons, if you part amicably with full understanding and acceptance that you can no longer be together that is how it should be. That part where he slapped her in front of the mistress when she found out that something sneaky was going on between them is enough for any wife to divorce him. That was the biggest disrespect a husband can do to his wife- commit adultery and physically hit her. What a MORON😝

Possibly because this drama has a female screenwriter…..some of her other pieces are Married but Available ,Nothing Gold can Stay …..this is such a good drama and Star of Ocean. Each lead female shows great determination in the face of adversity.
The fact that he had the audacity to act like it was crazy for her to want a divorce, and that she wasn't thinking of their child.. when he literally said he was willing to divorce her after breaking their vows and physically abusing his wife. As if it was selfish for a victim to want to end a relationship, but for the abuser it was completely normal. He's so toxic and a bit of a narcissist. It wouldn't bother me as much if this were unrealistic, but partners who cheat often behave this way, and blame the person who holds them accountable for their own actions.
Also the fact that he thinks the default is her loving him and them being together, and anything else is her unfairly removing something which was his by right... instead of understanding that love is a fragile and beautiful mercy which can be lost as soon as the trust which tethers it is broken, and that is no one's right to get it back... It just shows how much cheap ownership he assumes he has over his wife's heart. I drives me mad. He thinks he can fall out of love for shallow reasons, but she can't fall out of love fair ones?
I still can't believe he had the nerve to tell her they will not divorce. What a jerk! All for that little tasteless girl. And then when he lost everything and his reputation is destroyed here he is acting like he was bring wronged by her. He should be glad that she did anything for him after what he did. A one night fling and never see you again is one thing. But moving in with this mistress while married and giving her everything the wife and child deserved is another. Preferably with longer endings or s2 where the victim finds happiness without them and the cheating abuser suffers......along with their affair partners.

So glad this woman was strong enough to not be fooled. If he had unknowingly or even drunkenly fell into a one night stand trap but set boundaries and whatever conditions the wife set then we can see that he loved his wife and if he was that drunk probably couldn’t even sex the woman or if he did he was sweaty, stinky, probably vomit in his mouth if he kissed her or her him….at any rate it couldn’t have been intimate and pleasant. But this guy had a full blown affair where he and the mistress were sexing everywhere. Living together, mistreating his wife and child, wasting money and taking from the wife to appease the mistress. So I was glad to see him lose his job and reputation and the mistress also lose everything…those contracts were all canceled and she was named as a third party so her reputation was destroyed. Then he had no place to go but home and thought tears and pity would be enough. I would be thinking about how he hit me and cheated on me and have a hissy fit but she was calm. Nice job!

What gets me about all of this, is he mentioned about his daughter when she mentioned divorce. Funny, he didn't think of his wife and daughter at all during the cheating but he sure brings her up as a way to try to keep her around. But the wife showed him by saying she won't hurt herself for her daughter and i totally agree with that. Now i dont have kids but if you stay in a relationship like this one where you are unhappy or unable to forgive/forget then the one who pays the price isnt just you its the children too b/c they see the parents unhappy and grow up thinking that's how family is suppose to be. I also like to see a season 2 when Yimin and his evil woman heading to prison for their under-handed method of tricking small businesses in order to rob them. Also, that sly fox became infertile after an accident leading to her miscarriage. Because both of them don't deserve to have children, being who and what they are.

This dude not only cheated on his wife but his family, when a married man cheats it not only affects the wife but the family as a whole so it’s pointless to point out his child for the reason to stay together after the cheating as been revealed because that should have been one of the reasons not to cheat but it wasn’t so a cheap action as a costly consequences. He says "I think we should calm down" but I've never seen a more calm woman discussing a divorce - ever. He has the audacity to ask her if she's still mad about him cheating on her, but looking at her face when he says that, she's not angry at all: she's just done. I don't think she's even still hurting over it, she's just done with him and the marriage he too easily discarded for his own selfish desires. She stuck by him while sick, going through treatment, and while he found a job because she's still marriage to him and it is her responsibility as his legal wife, but now that all that is over, her responsibility to cater to his every whim and need is over as well. When his lame apology, lamer still "I broke up with her a long time ago", and his even lamer "I won't do it again!" don't work on her because she no longer will be a doormat or manipulated by him, he changes tactics and uses their child for his reason not to divorce. He's still trying to manipulate her to get her back, get her to forgive him, get the family unit he trashed for a side piece back because he thinks things will go back to the way they were before he got stupid and did stupid things. One look at her face, one observance of her calm demeanor and patience in telling him she's done is enough to know he could stand on his head and spit money out his toes and she wouldn't stay. He destroyed everything they had for a fling and he lost big time. I hope she stays true to her word and leaves him. She's so unemotional and sounds absolutely exhausted even by the conversation. He broke her completely but in that pain, she found herself, found her voice, found her self esteem and found her backbone and in case he hasn't figured it out yet, he stands zero chance of ever being more to her than just their child's father now and forever. Actions have consequences and he's just learning this hard lesson.

Why is he angry with her have he forgotten how he treated her. Have he forgotten how he slapped her and left his hand print on her face. Why would he ever think that she would go back to him.
