Your videos are very useful for restorers because they show the value of being methodical, taking care and carrying out the various tasks care properly. Thank you for the valuable lessons you teach your viewers. Smiles and respect from the USA.
That’s a magnificent old tool. They don’t make them that way these days. Sheet metal workers, and wanna be’s, would love a tool like that. Looks great.
Exactly the type of tool that should be preserved. I know some tinsmiths who would enjoy it. I would have used it in my studio when I was a jeweler. Still lots of need for 'old fashioned' small hand powered tools in small shops. Thanks.
Excellent restoration Radek, happy fathers day, son number 1 made me a steak dinner, son number 2 bought me a bottle of rum, I hope you and Veronika and your daughter had a great day.
Once again, I appreciate the time and care you put into your restorations! What a fascinating piece... this machine was made when quality was the most important thing, and your results are magnificent! Thank you for posting!
Brilliant Restoration. Red painting on main structure and blackening of components was A Great idea. Gives a Fantastic contrast, Great Finish and look Congratulations
Wow...first time I've ever seen blackening done the correct way on a restoration channel. I love the finish my mechanics gets on his sandblasted/heat treated/quenched in oil method but that is just carbonizing and not true blackening. This is the real deal. Wonderful...just wonderful!
What I love about Veradona is that strange, obsolete tools are restored, then they show how it's used. I love that aspect. I also like how they branded their restoration too. Nice touch. Again, another great video. Kudos!
As another restorer says, "from shabby to shiny". You guys have done it again, granted not much call for one of these on a daily basis, outside of motor vehicle repair, but yours is definitely a classic piece of workmanship.
Wow the new paint colour along with your channel's labels gives this an ultra modern look. I was reading in the description of your video that everything you do in the restorations is self taught, I think what you do is incredible and being self taught you can learn from your mistakes rather than just reproducing the mistakes of another. Yet another amazing restoration.
Ahoj kluci, to vyšlo opravdu dobře, miluji vaše štítky a barevné schéma na něm. Skvělá výzva k uvědomění si levého vlákna, vypadá to, že si toho nevšiml někdo jiný, a z toho vyloučil denní světlo. 🤬. Vyměním tě za jednu čínskou kdykoli. Někdy přicházejí velmi po ruce. Také jsem se musel smát všem lidem, kteří tento název špatně pochopili😂😂😂. Na zdraví Stuart & Lea 🇦🇺
I first started watching you videos over a year ago and I have to say you have really upped your game. The choice of things you restore along with your attention to detail is amazing. The quality of your editing has improved also with a much cleaner and crisper look. Well done.

I thought this was a 1974 contraption! I'm judging by the sound of music that's being played. This educational video has still revamped/recalled or resurrected my memory about the classic days of Branciforte Jr. High School. 🏫

15:30 The filler is supposed to be applied to bare metal, not to primer. If the primer comes off, the filler will come off right with it, if it doesn't peel of the primer itself first. It's not designed to bond to painted surfaces.
Suprová práce Radku. Pozdravuji domů do Čech. Tu mašinku jsem používal před lety doma v Čechách. Jsem klempíř. Ale už to nedělám. Rád bych ale zase nějakou domů sehnal. V důchodu se nebudu nudit. 😂 Ahoj Jarda
Idk if it means anything to you, but I learned of a method for gently de-rusting metal. There’s a popular gunsmith on RUclips that boils guns and parts in water for about 45 minutes using a propane turkey fryer. Somehow it brings the rust to surface, then he cards it on a grinder with 5/6000 grit wire wheels. He says if you can’t put your fingers in the wheel while it’s running your wheel is too abrasive. He is trying to protect any bluing this way, and not stripping to bare metal, however. I’d love to try it someday!
As usual, awesome job! Of all the things you have taken apart I don’t think I have ever seen so many of those pins that lock the gears onto the shafts (Forgive me for not knowing their names). Beautiful garden by the way!

I used one of those when I first started working in hvac years ago. I hated that stupid thing, hours spent making collars, glad to move on to a service position when it opened up.
Good to see a fellow "tin bender". The one we used I think was the grandfather to this one. I started in field installation, got moved into our light gauge shop. 26 to 10 gauge. Our company was mainly commercial and industrial HVAC. The one residence we did was for the housekeeping home of a large mansion. Had to use a 40 ton crane to set a 5 ton unit because of where it had to go. Stay safe
donnie brown we did mainly residential with some light commercial. It was late 90's and building was booming so we were working 60+ hour weeks. Learned a lot but glad to move on. It's hard work doing it all by hand.

The only minor nitpicking - the wooden handle should rotate freely on its axis.
Perfect recovery. Highest level. I watched this video with pleasure.
Thank you. Since I made this machine for myself, I intentionally tightened the handle. I don't like loose handles.
