I just got Sicilia and I have to say, Mode Shuffle is where it shines the most. Playing it in random with its excruciating 1.6 Sigma is pure pain. I thought that 16 guns would compensate the poor Sigma ... Oh boy was I wrong. I couldn't punish cruisers sitting broadside to me at 10.0km because of that dispersion, it's really frustrating. It could really benefit from 1.7 Sigma instead. The lower range of Mode Shuffle makes Sicilia so much better ... I hope we get more of this game mode. And thanks for showcasing this ship PQ ! There aren't many videos about it around.
Nah, most of the community believes Sap Secondary can do something. And deny any buff on Sicilia's main battery. Maybe the designer thinks the same thing. I have 50 games of experience in Sicilia, and my conclusion is that Sicily with secondary is a very awkward defensive battleship. Because SAP needs to stay above 10 kilometers to keep the trajectory curve high enough to avoid Bouncing. But Sicillia's 22-degree salvo Angle can only be achieved when it is forward. The backward-37 salvo makes Sicilia vulnerable. At the same time, a salvo within six miles will turn into an Angle of over 40 degrees. So Sicilia has to keep backing up, which gives him very low mobility and takes a lot of damage. If you give up the secondary. Good, the performance of the current version of the Sicilia lags far behind that of Colombo, with unique upgrades. Colombo's dispersion reaches the US bb level, taking more advantage than 6-sec reloading. So, I suggest we skip Sicilia. Maybe one day, Sicilia will get buffed. For now, I find no reason to play Sicilia; if you want to play Main Battery, go to Colombo with UU; If you want to play defensive secondary BB, go for G.K. Unless you want to prove you're a special person, don't play Sicilia.
In rank, Sicilia will be slammed by 27-mm ships, such as D.M. and Schrieffen. They are very popular, so don't play Sicilia in Rank. WG mentioned in 13.8 that they will launch T10 operations. Computers may show more of their broadside, probably that's where Sicilia ends.
The truth of the matter is, big-caliber battleship AP shells DID overpen lightly armoured ships like light cruisers. That's precisely what saved the escort carriers in the Battle of Leyte Gulf.
Hello PQ, just played my first two games in Escort, fist in the Schliffen and second in the K14Johan and i pushed till i couldnt anymore, I can see why you said, It was a fun mode, (while pushing) the Team Won! twice. good to Know the C.Colombo is getting a sweet buff, because it's a shotgun at this momment lol well it feels like that.Thank you PQ, wp!
Its best to treat light cruisers as destroyers at close range. (Use HE) Because the guns are waaay to powerful compared to the cruiser's armour at close range
i love sicilia, even in randoms. for me its the smoke which is relatively long duration and relatively short cooldown. you can cycle smoke, DCP and heal so effectively that you can push and just hold a position without being forced to retreat due to sustained enemy fire as you always have something to mitigate. full main gun build on the modules, secondary/conceal build on the commander - its just very fun as it can push and stay put, not being forced to retreat. quite unique playstyle. not OP or anything, but fun. 11.3km secondary is absolutely not worth it, the 7% dispersion module is insane for obvious reasons, and the secondaries dont really hit that far out anyway because their dispersion is so poor.
Mino is surprisingly good in mode shuffle and a blast to play. For the mode, I found smoke more useful than radar. Mino excels at bursting down ships and punishing broadsides, especially at the ranges these matches typically take place at.
Hey PQ, do you think it’s possible that in order to avoid the overpens you have to use the mechanic to let the shells travel more through the water? In other words, should you be aiming lower?
Full secondary builds are the biggest scam in this game. Running a hybrid build is really how you bring these "secondary" battleships to life. Preussen knows how good hybrids can be all too well. In my opinion if you're taking the secondary range buff, you're losing out on a potentially much better option for a 3 point commander slot.
The only ships I'd say to run full secondary build in would be the German battle cruisers just because of how insane the DPM is with IFHE and all the secondary buffs.
@@cookiecraze1310 yeah you are right, and from personal experience Iwami can also handle her own with a full secondary build, as the guns aren't anything to write home about.
I think the RNG is designed to have more Arms Race, because I've had the same experience. I've not been that impressed with Sicilia, almost never get to use the secondaries unless you're right in the islands and mostly sacrificing the ship.
Sorry, but watching those no FP builds just hurts... Why not drop ERE for it, the 5th heal gets used in like 1/10 battles when you re brawling. FP on the other hand always benefits you under that constant HE spam which is present in every battle.
I hate Mode Shuffle because even though you have nothing to lose people still sit at the back or ignore the objectives. The potato playerbase needs to be broken of their fear habit.

So many people told me not to buy Sicilla, now I bought it I can say it's my best buy so far. Very strong ship.
13:16 The guy in the Napoli was featured in a Jingles video just recently.

Once again tired of the ship requests, so thank you for the video instead. It was really fun to see this ship get a nice spotlight

If you know how to aim underwater, that will guarantee cits.
Michaelangelo in Mode Shuffle!!!

Would love to see you play Bourgogne in this mode! It's been my primary ship to use in mode shuffle.
Aren't they using the mode to test changes to AR? They added convoy/airship to con people into playing AR.

It's like WG deliberately sabotaged it by upping the percentage of AR games.
I think so too.
I enjoyed the first week a lot , now its just arms race which is just random games but with a bunch of buffs added.
Your not wrong. Arms race comes up way to often.
YESSSS
Is Verdi like this in this gamemode too?
Sicilia...3 strikes and the stream is over...

Where can i get the italian special commander?
If your asking about Luigi Sansonetti, you need to compete the Resolute and Rapid Collection.
You can buy Italian collection crates for coal in the armory.
Oh thanks, I didn't know it was a collection reward
It is a 4x4 collection.. safe all dupes unless you can unlock every piece in the collection to min max your coal needed to unlock him

hi :)
Ey up !
Ok so i am glad i did not get it, its garbage. got it.
ty.
Mode Shuffle sucks, most games are Arms Race... may as well play Randoms!!! 👎
I hate arms race. It's a dumb game mode.
to shoot light cruisers, you must shoot in angle or nose in... not broadside... just learn boy
This thing is insane in Asymmetric.
CLs still have the most insane AA, yet players still cry CVs are op.... 🤦
🤡
attackers far advantageous due to all the pussiness in game these days. real easy to just find a spot and they will never come near you
