From what I know about Paul Sykes he was a genuine fighting man one of the best. He wouldn't of believed any prison.officers would be able to beat him he would of just taken them apart he certainly didn't need a weapon to beat up anyone.

What happened yammy is this. I've spoken to paul about this and he said he never used a dumb bell, and by the way pal it was 2 screws in Hull prison that he got 5 years for. Both P E Is. No weapon was used and he definitely wouldn't side swipe someone. Where ever you got your facts from are utter bullshit mate. I know people who so this and one guy by the name of Alan stott said sykes batterd them both with his hands. The screws said dumbells to get him more bird and that's what happened. Take care.

I was on anther wing, but remember also hearing the fight was set up. so BW could have it away but, we know jail gossip. but week later I saw BW being escorted in patches. just thought you would know.
