Yo! Kuni here! This draft here is definitely something, but I'm having an absolute blast with playing all the games with you guys. Thanks for having me! (Also dang it, Mekkah! My strategy and reasoning for picking units has been revealed! What ever am I to do?!)
It might be interesting to play a version of this where repeat characters are drafted once. So if you draft palla, you get her for fe1, 2, 3, 11, 12, and 15.
@@Mekkkah It's not like an all games draft is particularly balanced anyway, and merging all iterations of a character into one would probably shorten a draft like this by hours.
It'll probably be a good while before I play FE3 again, but I very much look forward to using the manaketes more than I did on my first go 'round earlier this year Slapping a Power Ring on Bantu and watching him OHKO the ch13-14 ice dragons is going to be _so_ much fun (+Iote's Shield to cancel their effective back at him because apparently it works on ALL forms of effective damage in Mystery of the Emblem) Oh btw, I also leave you with a revelation: Xane being a Manakete, and transforming into whoever he copies for five turns just like the other 'ketes do with their dragonstones in FE3, means that every other playable unit is actually a Xanestone
I'm so sad i'm the only one in my circle of gaming friends who plays Fire Emblem... I can't really do drafts, so i usually just go for deciding on a good amount of units for a game that i can use, find a list of every playable character (lord is always free), and then just use a random number generator to decide which units are on my team! For instance, the most units you can use on a map in Engage is 14, so that's the number of units i get. As an added rule, characters in games that can reclass, has to stay in their normal classes, as just reclassing someone to replace a healer you didn't get would be too easy... So if a character is in a class that uses only swords when they are recruited, like Lapis, she MUST be promoted to a Swordmaster, to stay true to her base class, while someone like Goldmary who is already promoted, must stay in that class forever. I could just draft with a random number generator picking units randomly for 3 other teams, but if i'm already at the mercy of RNG, i might as well go all the way!
LMAO Funnily enough we did something very similar to this as well (in Mekkah's Keep nonetheless) starting in April last year, just without three houses for... some reason that I don't remember. Love the top-tier drafting strategies, you can really see how much thought and effort went into drafting these carefully created teams (if you ain't drafting with your heart something's up lol). Interesting to see how your own experience went, looking forward to seeing that journey!
@@wJermell0 actually first half is arguably the most different because characters are kind of locked into what they are designed for for a chapter or two
your thoughts on 3H is about how I feel trying to replay it. Hard is too easy, Madenning is too bullshit, so it just feels like you're wasting your time playing a solved and/or annoying game when you could be playing almost any other FE. I've tried numerous times to replay it after that first year window, but it just fails to have something to bring me back, unlike other FE games. Its story could be the best written of all time, but I can't rate it higher than a C considering how important replay ability is to FE for me.
When two or more people take a list of characters, take turns picking them, usually one by one, and then play the game, only being allowed to use the characters they picked
As an objective observer with no skin in the game I say: Sara as the very first pick is a certified W.

Palla's already one of the best picks, she doesn't need to be buffed like that.

@@thebladeoflightok but the fact it took so long was one of the funniest parts about it. and idk i think it'd make all the archanea games very same-y
@@MekkkahI think having each game having it's own picks does add to the enjoyment especially playing back to back.
This draft was all memes and fun. Really enjoyed it.

I remember helping peeved get a meme kill with nanna on veld in this draft, it was great.
Hell yeah.
revealing he needed help for that is the real roast

Maybe try using belf or machua

"Gotoh -type characters are free" is a very funny statement considering that Gotoh himself wasnt free.
lol you're right. i forgot which ones were free but a lot of them defo were not. i think athos was.
I was gonna shame you and your cow for not picking Boyd, but you picked Dieck in FE6, so I have to forgive you.
Man I donno who that Free person is, but they must be pretty good to get through some of those games with so few units.
Sooooo, who’s gonna draft race all the FE games in a row?
Shoutouts to the guy who picked Bord, Cord and Barst in FE 1 right of the bat. What a legend.
chill ted talk
"We don't talk about Peri" but we DEFINITELY don't talk about Setsuna, she didn't even get mentioned. :(
There a convenient link to the all game tier list maker? Might try and do this with my friends

God I wish I had friends who actually play FE
It strikes me as very ironic that despite having 4 different routes Three Houses is one of the least replayable FE games.
That's the problem with letting every character become every class
And having the first half of the game be identical for every route@@velvetbutterfly

Did the Belf stonks?
yes. invest now.
I've had investments in belf stonks from the day I first recruited him 6 years ago.
Dear god I haven't played fe 12 in 5 years
always wanted to try a draft with other people cause it sounds like fun but idk enough people who woule be on board
Hi this says you drafted every Fire Emblem game, but I don't see any Last Promise portraits. I gotta know who got Kevin.
fug
Also no Smash Bros
Those Thracia picks were based. Too bad you didn't get Asbel.
it's ok, i think i used asbel in 90% of my thracia runs
I already like mody because he picked the boy asbel
"We don't talk about Peri!"
Amen
"before Engage comes out" 😢
Some of us made it.
I am so excited to showcase my unhiged later games builds. Also, fuck 3h, this draft was enlightenment for me to hate on 3h.
Me On my way to only draft armour nights and dragons every time I do this with the homies
Shadow Dragon and New Mystery had transfer bonuses?
No, that was a joke.
You can't put Tiki on the thumbnail and expect me not to click
I wanna do this myself someday, maybe involve some of my friends or just do it alone. But on easy mode so i just have a jolly time

didn't even first pick fe1 roshea cring.
Roshea is my meme unit for FE 1, when he's actually pretty good. He needs a single speedwing after promo and he's good to go.
@@leargamma4912 he's my meme unit Fir every game
Good news. FE1 Roshea was used and fielded in endgame even!
The fact that SoV Delthea appears to have been picked so late in the draft is a crime
