Also what is the difference between watching a chess match on tv with narration or a magic the gathering match on stream with narration? That young kids watch the hyper streams is not a sign of npc either if you ask me. This is simply a generation difference. I will say though I'm not much on twitch, I tend to watch youtube.
I make high pitched random sporadic noises in public. I even will scream sometimes and can make a wide range of bird calls and animal sounds. Some smile and smoe frown.....

This is a great point. If a person is not aware, Matt’s channel can be a distraction just like anything else in the world. It can lead to a false sense of our ego thinking it’s spiritually superior or some dumb crap like that. But what I like most about this channel is he never asks for a “like or subscribe”. I’m so tired of the culture of desperation where creators are constantly asking for a like and to subscribe because it “really helps the channel with the algorithms”.

Always in the background observing, never part of the main scene. I have been experiencing a phenomena for a few years and wondering if anyone else has this problem. I usually watch every single daily episode of QOC. Once in a while i will miss a notification and suddenly I will completely forget that QOC channel&Matt, exists. In the past, lasted a week maximum, but this last time, it has been almost 3 weeks. Three weeks, where it has been completely wiped from my mind...until one day, I remember, at which time i binge watch as much as i can.

This is a great point. If a person is not aware, Matt’s channel can be a distraction just like anything else in the world. It can lead to a false sense of our ego thinking it’s spiritually superior or some dumb crap like that. But what I like most about this channel is he never asks for a “like or subscribe”. I’m so tired of the culture of desperation where creators are constantly asking for a like and to subscribe because it “really helps the channel with the algorithms”.

Have been a regular listener for many years. im at the point where it seems to me being a NonPlayerCharacter, NPC, may in fact be the way outta here. Always in the background observing, never part of the main scene. For the most part "reality" notnilc ignores them, except for the "window dressing" needs. im still struggling with the concept, but the goal would be to become a pseudo, or fake NPC player, one that is actually awake and aware while being immune to the tricks and trials of the game. i dunno, maybe im just ready to see the credits roll, im tired boss..im tired ❤

I have been experiencing a phenomena for a few years and wondering if anyone else has this problem. I usually watch every single daily episode of QOC. Once in a while i will miss a notification and suddenly I will completely forget that QOC channel&Matt, exists. In the past, lasted a week maximum, but this last time, it has been almost 3 weeks. Three weeks, where it has been completely wiped from my mind...until one day, I remember, at which time i binge watch as much as i can.

I wouldn't be so quick to condemn people who do one particular thing you don't like as "not going to make it," you never know. Every generation "creates" it's own words, and every culture their own speech pattern. I do admit, however, something is much different and more sinister about this latest generations speech. It's very tech-infused and associated with so much negativity. I'm a regular viewer of this channel and enjoy watching one person in particular play video games, and their commentary on it is quite entertaining to me. It's comedic and gives me a break from reality. If you think that means "I won't make it," that's your own burden - not mine.

Anyways the point I'm trying to get to is my husband asked our daughter " do you know who Ninja is?" She was like "OMG YES!! HE'S A VERY POPULAR GAMER ON YOU TUBE!!" I made an offhand comment the other day about Snoop being a bad person, and my husband jumped to his defense! I wasn't expecting it, though I should have -- i guess I wasn't thinking. My husband is a big rap fan. I can't stand rap, though I tried over the years for my husband's sake. I asked my husband if he would be comfortable with Snoop watching our kids. My husband said, "Of course. He's not a bad person. He just likes to smoke weed. He doesn't associate with gangs anymore. All that's in the past." The more I tried to explain it, the more this ridiculous argument escalated! I eventually just excused myself, saying that it's a stupid argument. My husband agreed on that, for different reasons.
