Good job Eric...came out nice, that car is badass i like the informational ride along with Fran torward the end, great stuff, and to show the car off, you give a good run down. you guys are great.. love all the content.
Pro-tip for you guys bleeding the charge air circuit. The newer style pumps, ( especially bosch and pierburg) can be a real pita to bleed. The engine pcm is monitoring the current consumption of the pump. too little amp draw from air in the system, lack of fluid, etc will cause the pump to shut off. it's a safety feature to protect the pump. next time put a coolant pressure tester on the system and give it 15-20 psi. that will force the fluid into the pump and keep it from shutting off.
Fran, can you please tell me what's your air fuel ratio that's shown based off? 14.1 or 14.7 stoich? I'm trying to convert it to Lambda and it varies depending on what the stoich is.
@@joemeyers1016 that's what I'm saying, I don't know what stoic his air fuel gauge is based off, if it was in lambda then it would be easy but it's not.
Agreed with Eric on most Burger Kings. They're franchises and typically run poorly. If you find the diamond in the rough BK that's run really well, it's like an entirely different restaurant. Similar thing with Wendy's. The occasional Wendy's, run like a Chick-fil-A, can compete with anyone. What's absolutely unbelievable about McDonald's is their consistency between locations. If one pauses to think what that takes to achieve, it's almost unfathomable how they pull it off.
For real, there is one Burger King by me that is a gem, but the girl that manages it has been there for 25 years. I've been seeing her since I was in high school. I had to ask how long she's been there and had to complement the place.
My mother-in-law is 84 and loves Burger King only. My Mom died 2 years ago at 88 and loved Burger King as well. I can’t tell you why but I hate it and only eat it when they would ask for it. 😂😂😂😂
Funny sounding question but is your lunch room located in your washroom because you all seem to know what toilet bowl cleaner and urinal pucks taste like LOL
Lol nothing wrong using butt connectors. I'll never understand why people hate them, they are great and used on equipment that cost more than any car yall work on with out issues.
They are junk, if that was the case they'd come factory that way, for even electrical, but they don't, I've been a class 8 tractor mechanic for over 25 years and that is the first thing we look for in a wire fault is a shit repair and 99% of the time it is the issue. Now with something that measures and/or reads in Ohms or mV like a O2 sensor for example, your are adding a shit ton of DCR resistance and will get a faulty reading that is why Eric said that it is a no, no.
I’m confused on that too, I had an o2 connector that the previous owner burnt up on header and I’ve always heard you don’t want to use butt connectors but I bought a new pig tail and butt connected together. My dad is an aircraft engineer and he said the FAA states that it is an acceptable way to fix a spliced wire. So if a federally mandated aircraft can have butt connectors why can’t a car?
@ryanmcarthur7407 By your Thermo Dynamics video I know you're smarter than this lol! What happens when you join two different types of metal together??? Besides the fact it is junk China metal. It may last for a little while, but add weather to that mix and you get a perfect storm bud, keep using them it's just job security for the rest of us.
@jelenekoutdoors9023 ahh you mean my old college video yes it was awesome. And well given the fact I use butt splices on machines that cost more than cars they build and with out failure that also see wear and tear and water I'd say from first hand experience I know what I'm talking about.

I agree the ride-alongs add the period at the end
What a nice boss buying snack boxes for the guys, that has to boost employee morale.
Just like a pizza party!
So happy u did the road test video with this sick car. Keep it up!!
The love for snacks. Never goes away
Cant wait to save up enough for stage 4 ! Great build
Good job guys, another awesome build. Enjoyed the ride along as well, keep up the great work and videos 👍🏻

Great info Fran 😎👍 love the test drives
Car is sweet .
Nice job.
😎😎😎👍👍👍
I couldn’t imagine having that much power in my Z. I simply couldn’t control her!
@7:13 Rotty low key wanted one too!😂😂😂😂
Is there a fix to the c7 zo6 overheating problem?
Do you guys think a hub dyno is more beneficial?
In a perfect world, but would be tough with the volume they do and a huge investment for the occasional car.
Is a hub dyno good for transmission tuning though? Fran seems to do a lot of that too.
🤣🤣🤣 bro the shop talk kills me every time
So what snack package is that from Amazon???
That would be sweet if you guys replaced speed for spark timing lol
The yellow one made 900 i think when you guys tested the x port
I love that Fran will not put a car back out with timing fueling that just don't make sense for the gains had

Stoich for Lambda is 1 on any fuel. Stoich for E10 is 14.1, stoich for Ethanol free gasoline is 14.7.

you guys should get into the coyote platforms

Now every time I see Eric eating snacks I'm going to think of urinal cakes
When I see butt connectors in a harness, that's been hacked up, hence the name "Hack"
everyone is in full agreeance they taste exactly just like toilet bowl/cake cleaners ... yes yes yes yes
Any high side with a setup like this? Or just an aux and meth?
aux and meth

What’s up with putting 1000 horsepower in the title when the car is 100-150 short
Same thing every manufacture does…..

@jelenekoutdoors9023 I've used them on encoders with no issues for servo motors. Lol they are fine
