Oh I wish I could make or buy such lovely glasses... how no brand made clear glasses with something inside is beyond me... it's such an aesthetic piece
I have seen some clear ones with glitter inside but that's about it lol
I think it's mostly because it's such a long, labour intensive process, and not all flowers will be the right size or fresh enough for customer satisfaction. I do agree it's a beautiful concept, and I can certainly see Etsy sellers offering them. I don't see any brands focusing on it since it's too much of a niche market, which will also have a high price tag :(
You could encase the plastic parts in a sand mold and simply use a small furnace to burn away the material. Inject with resin, burnish, polish, then hydro dip using a preselected pattern featuring the flowers of your choosing. Using this method would enable you to create many pairs as well. Done with care the glasses would be production quality also.

the way i took out the little metal thingys was to use a wood burner to heat up the metal part, then pull. it comes right out:D
Yeah, I was thinking 'hot air blower' immediately. That plastic should soften pretty quickly. Probably even putting them into an hot oven for a bit would work.
If you don't want the glasses to bend next time, use a type of silicon that will be clear in the end because the light can't touch the resin as easily and have the UV light shine on the resin for at least 1-2min that should help with the bending

Will resin glasses be safe for the eyes? I wanted to make myself such, but I'm afraid of my eyesight.
I think a heat gun would be more effective at removing the hardware. They're also a super versatile tool that any DIYer should own!
