The orange eyes and blue beaks and toes of the owlets is such a beautiful and striking combination. The adults are gorgeous too. I’m fascinated by these owls.
Es búho es el gran señor de na noche. El que se adueñe de esa pájaro tan beneficioso para el hombre. Debiera estar en un sanatorio para locos. Ese animalito es intocable para el hombre.... 😢😮😢😮
And God said, “Let the waters swarm with swarms of living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth across the expanse of the heavens.” So God created the great sea creatures and every living creature that moves, with which the waters swarm, according to their kinds, and every winged bird according to its kind. And God saw that it was good. And God blessed them, saying, “Be fruitful and multiply and fill the waters in the seas, and let birds multiply on the earth.” Genesis 1:20-22 ESV
You’re correct, DING DING DING! The Eurasian eagle owl is a large species of brown owl with awesome orange eyes and an ear-like feather above each eye, making it look like its North American relative the great horned owl. The main differences between these two owl species are the yellow eyes on the great horned owl, while the eagle owl’s eyes are orange, and that eagle owls have more brown on their chest feathers than great horned owls, which have a splash of white on theirs. The eagle owl is also a little smaller than the great horned owl. Another difference is their hoots. Eagle owls simply say “hoo-hoo”, a short, two-syllable call. Great horned owls go the extra mile and spice up their songs, chanting “Hoo hoo-OOO! HOO hoo” as well as making other sounds that are quite strange and spooky.
These owlets have gorgeous colors! 😮 I've never seen these owls. ❤🤩
