There really is no band like DiAnno Maiden! It was like punk but with guys who could REALLY play their instruments. Totally unique still. Killers packs a bigger punch, better produced. You will love it! 🙂. It feels like you are reacting to all the stuff I have loved at some point Kira 😅 First Portishead and now early Maiden. Great work!
Iron Maiden & Killers are my fav Maiden albums. Thanks for doing this. First Iron Maiden song I ever heard was Transylvania.... no vocals, but I was hooked.
Iron Maiden really isn't brilliantly produced. I remember seeing Steve saying that he'd have loved to have Martin Birch produce it but they were too scared to approach him and Martin saying that when he heard it he loved it and even before being asked to do Killers wished they'd approached him to produce it.

being honest with myself and putting all the hype aside, objectively I think the 'best' album of this band is between their fifth and sixth, Powerslave and Somewhere in Time. But this is still my favorite by far 😅, ok this and Powerslave
I like your digging into and reaction to heavy metal so much. You are so real, pure, genuine and unique. Keep on beeing who you are, experience more of rock and metal and doing your awsome videos.
Seeing them live on The World Slavery Tour, Iron Maiden live was an awesome song. The stage split open to reveal an enormous Eddie. Never seen anything like it, it was amazing to experience.
That's because the vast majority of the average listener of this band listens only to the later albums with Bruce, the hits, or the couple of songs the band still plays at their live shows. Very underrated, to this day
From the moment I bought it on cassette in 1982 and played "Prowler" on my little mono bedside tape player/radio/alarm, I was hooked. Magnificent album.
It’s impossible to pick a favorite song on that album because the whole thing is a masterpiece with a different vibe every song. I love watching your reactions because it takes me back to when I first heard these songs and had a very similar reaction.
Este es el principio del grandioso camino de la carrera musical de iron maiden es algo asombroso este álbum, ha influenciado muchísimas bandas tan solo con este álbum.
Listening to this album again takes me back to my sixteen year old self in 1980. I like Bruce Dickinson era Iron Maiden, but I prefer the dark and gritty edge to Paul Di'Anno's voice. I think it is a good idea for you to listen to different types of music Kira, I'm 58 and I like a wide range from Abba to ZZ Top.
Great to see you react again.. Noticing your love for bass and drums.. Same here. :) And that you are so fond of melancholic times.. Your dad should be proud of you, and he also has good taste in music. Big hug from Tromsø"Norway" :) A tip, try Tidal for a better sound.. ;) :)
The debut is solid from start to finish, with Seventh Son and Powerslave close behind. The songs on Iron Maiden were sort of a "best of" from their late 70s club set, and were mostly written between '76 and '78.
This (Iron Maiden) and powerslave are my two favourite albums, and I could listen to them from start to finish all day long. Powerslave has the most energy of any album I've ever heard😜 Up the mighty Iron🤘🤘🤘🤘
👍 'Sanctuary' was included on some versions and was their second single. It's a bit punky and a personal favourite. Their next album 'Killers' is all killer too.
Finally! Most of the reaction channels react to later maiden but not early maiden with Di’anno. Happy to see someone react to the start of Maiden’s glory
Clive Burr (drums) was a godsend when he joined Iron Maiden in 1979, and changed the sound of the band... more frantic and swinging. He recorded the first 3 albums ('Iron Maiden'... 'Killers'... 'The number of the beast') before he was fired and replaced by the current drummer Nicko McBrain... Sadly, Clive Burr has passed away in 2013... (R.I.P.) he was diagnosed w/ MS years earlier and Maiden did fundraisers to help him out financially around 2005.
Welcome back!😊 I am an old Japanese guy. When I heard Iron Maiden's first album, I was very shocked.
