My wife and I's monthly payment was $2415 month. We would pay an extra $500 a month towards the principal. We currently just refinanced to get a lower interest rate and to get off of PMI. Our new monthly payment is $2915 a month. We plan on still paying $3700 a month but are now going to do bi-monthly payments.

making the payments quarterly, in addition to adding, a payment each month and watch how fast the payments begin to drop on your amortization chart. I've got one more year after starting about a year ago. The timing of the payments is everything. This is the only thing that they all leave out when doing the videos.

One part of this vid that I do like is the idea of not taking on a large debt in the first place. I think there should be a balance between the amount of debt you incur and the amount of cash you can invest. I would rather have a $1000 house payment and $1000 going into stocks than a $2000 house payment and no stocks. If you have cash and you’re confused I will suggest you contact a finance advisor

Thanks for asking! :) I had to set aside a sum of money for a relative that I sponsored for a student visa so I didn't pay in advance as I used to this year. Thanks for mentioning that you no longer have to take money from your business to go towards your personal expenses. I’ve been balancing my business and my personal finances and it’s been such a challenge to grow because I would have to take profit and put it towards my personal expenses and I just thought there has to be a better way to do this. Now I’ve been realizing that I need to focus on my household money and debt in order to really focus on building my business without the pressure to need to make money just to pay myself.
    Thanks for the inspiration.
Yes it is an intentional journey.

I came home from work to a notice from my mortgage company with my new balance. Then as soon as I open my RUclips your video was the first one that I saw. I thank you for your wisdom and encouragement along the way, and yes the road has not been easy. It has been a lot of sacrifice but I know the reward will be great. Y’all just continue to be a blessing and may the Lord continue to keep blessing you. Your mortgage payoff video three years ago is what inspired me to take the leap to even attempt to pay my mortgage Off early. At that time I was just getting out of consume Debt and I thought to myself now what is next and that’s when I saw your mortgage payoff video. Who would have ever thought I would be saying I am $34,000 away from reaching that goal. To God be the glory.

I’ve been loving these type of videos. I’m debt free and have been considering what comes next for me. I really appreciate that your financial freedom led you to be able to minister more intentionally. That’s my underlying why. This video just made that click for me in my spirit. Thanks for sharing and congrats again!

this is very Inspiring. We bought a new house last year have 300 k left on loan we have built a very nice saving snot 300K though yet but once we hit that mark and have it will be only matter of time we pay it off. i dont want to drain savings but once we have 6 months emergency money. I can see it being paid off in 5 years pending nothing bad happens in future

Hi.. thank you for your work.
Would you ever recommend a person taking cash out the equity to pay off High Interest Debt.. AND ALSO reduce the interest being paid on their mortgage? What's your opinion on debt consolidation?

I’m desperately trying to pay off my home but just got done paying cash for one of my child’s college and am in the process of paying my second child’s college now. I still pay extra as much as I can. Once my son graduates I will throw everything at my mortgage.

I really like this video and y’alls success in paying everything off!! My wife and I are on the same journey, only another year or so and we will be debt free. I want to support your channel but I have issues with the whole church opening and treating it as if one day you want to make money. Churches should be non profit or for loss, seeing all these “preachers” or “people of GOD” all over America pretending to care about others feelings as long as they donate money! It is all for show, or should I say “money!” Don’t get me wrong it takes money to keep the lights on and the building safe for fellowship. Please don’t ruin Gods message with money. You should never make money spreading Gods word to help others. Good luck on your mission 👍🏼
