  • For both Netflix and the DVDs, the song in the scene ("Baby Sittin' Blues by Buzz Clifford") was replaced with the regular Bulk & Skull theme, probably due to rights issues.
This is the original broadcast version of the scene, from the premiere airing on 11/4/94 with the song intact.

I betcha that Skull's experience with Jacob here somewhat got him prepared for when he became a father for Spike

It’s good to have a break from hearing that same “Fat Man Walking” music whenever B&S appeared.

Never cared much for "The Ninja Encounter" cuz of how it was handled. Especially the debut of Rocky, Aisha and Adam, who spend most of the 3-parter held captive and don't do much before they eventually discover who the Power Rangers are. Plus the whole issue regarding Jason, Trini and Zack by this point. The original cut of this scene definitely makes up for this wasted 3-parter for me.

What's with the weird rights issues this show has with music?

a lot of shows have them home video rights were not a big thing because most kids shows never did boxed sets so saban probable paid for a short term tv only use license forBaby Sittin' Boogie from SME / Warner Chappell. when it came time to make a new long tearm rerun version and home video version of the episode he pulled from his own owned music libary and used the Bulk and skull cue so on rebrodcast even if he sold the company to a unwilling Michel Eisner he could still get paid twice.
