When it comes to the John Wick universe instead of being surprised that someone knows John Wick. Just expect every single person to know who John Wick is. It saves a lot of time.
I would count the big, tough guys in Aurelio's garage as he walked in. They all stopped their work and watched him pass by. They know who he is and they were there when Iosef proudly and loudly admitted that he, "...sure fucked up his dog." When Iosef said that, one) as angry they were, they couldn't touch him; and 2) killing him in the garage is just getting in John Wick's way.

If nobody already mentioned this, a bit of backstory about John Wick's character is that he was a hitman for the Russian mob. Then he became an assassin for an organization known as "the High Table". Each of the hotel's in the movie are like checkpoints for the assassins, where they can get weapons and ammo, or any other services that they might need. The character named Winston is the manager of this hotel. The gold coins that John has are like currency for the hotel services. Great reaction, I really hope you'll react to each of the sequels!

@@MagicMagy i would tell about another little dog me n a friend tried to get out of road but it was graphic. He called his wife because he was traumatized.
The writers/director said the only thing that would justify Wick's rampage would be the death of a puppy dog. And a little easily missed thing, the dog he took at the end was scheduled to be put down, so he saved the dog instead. There a bunch of little things sprinkled throughout the movie. The green light is like stepping into John's element. The doctor is the Keymaker from one of the Matrix sequels. The sledgehammer scene is John unearthing a life he laid to rest and buried. These movies are just fantastically well executed. They even take away the "infinite ammo" trope in most action movies, which in itself is awesome. That, and Keanu trained to do all this stuff, so he isn't someone whose bad side I'd want to be on.

@@MagicMagy Keanu Reeves' movies get suggested on everyone's channels, the John Wick series is the most popular. A bit of trivia: the extra who was scripted to be the "pup killer" was in fact a huge dog lover and even pretending to hurt it just about wrecked him, he spent much of the off times, quietly petting the pooch. He ended up adopting it and taking her home with him.
Imagine being Magy's father and hearing from outside the door: "WOOAA, WOW, WOW, THIS IS A GREAT MAN!! AAAA, WOW!" :))) I love the natural reaction she has to this movie.
Not sure if someone already commented. But his friend that was sent to kill him got that job so no one else would kill him. He missed his sniper shot on purpose to alert him that the girl was coming to kill him. That's also why he helped wick when he was choking
"So savage" That's a pretty apt way of describing John Wick! I love movies with a simple premise that then has a lush world built around it. John Wick is a simple revenge flick layered with so much lore and action it's just great! I know that Keanu Reeves trained like crazy for the film - there are some great vids online of him weapon drilling and also training jiu jitsu, and as a former brazillian jiu jitsu practitioner he looks the part!

On the clipboard on the dog cage where John releases & takes the dog it reads "To be put down", also at the end of the film,it's the same bridge/place where John is walking the dog is where John's wife collapsed in his arms at the beginning,as she was very ill. 😟
Maybe it's a good idea to find out who Keanu Reeves is. This man is a world treasure, it will be easier for you to recognize him in the movies. You already watched two movies with him :) :)
John Wick’s suits have a bulletproof lining, it stops most bullets not all and it doesn’t stop knives. He can still get stabbed and the bullets will still bruised and brake bones.
Notice the lighting in the Continental bar and the club. Blue shades when John is in control, red when the bad guys are, and purple for those few times it is uncertain or transition. Also note the target-like light near Yusef a time or two. There were also green and gold lights for neutrals or allies. You see the gold light again when John is captured after the Church scenes. Also Viggo isn't so much calm at the end as stoned, drunk, and crazy. Over the course of the movie he goes from calm and in control to drinking more, probably using drugs, and generally go over the edge of sanity.
A quick trivia post. 3 actors that work in the Matrix 2&3 Keanu Reeves (Neo) (John Wick) Daniel Bernhardt (Guy throws John for second floor at the club) played the Agent smith replacement and Randal Duke ( the doctor) was the keyaster.
John wick is definitely one of my favorite movies and franchise,it was awesome that one of my favorite RUclipsrs( you magy) made a reaction video to it and I definitely enjoyed and appreciated it aswell so thank you!
"Oh, God! They're here to -- Oh! -- to clean the mess! Are the[re] seriously people who do that?" There are, at least in movies and T.V. They're called "cleaners." (I would assume they do actually exist in real life, too, but I have no direct knowledge of that.)
Oh, I'm sure they do. The real world is full of hidden knowledge that is not meant to be known by everyone for the sake of our collective sanity. Though you can just go on the anonymous and by nature relatively surveillance-proof Tor network and read up on a bunch of extremely cursed hidden websites. There's videos of people reacting to the websites in there too, if you're not computer literate or fear being traced back. But either way it's not pretty.
A lil backstory and clarification John worked under Viggo and john wanted out bc he found Helen and wanted to be with her. So he asked Viggo to let him leave, so hegave him an impossible task. Thinking he couldn't do it bc why the hell would you give an out to your best assassin. The task given was to wipe out all Tarasov's enemies in a single night. Which John completed which goes to show you if this john wick now wtf was he like when he was in his prime!! Also added context to when John took out the church front and Viggo was furious bc all the bribes and money was destroyed well all of that was probably accumulated from the enemies that john took out plus what they already had. Full circle. Also the line God rewards us for our misdeeds, which is why God took your wife. . . and unleashed you upon me. Such a good line, chills every time. also fun/not so fun fact, the actor that was playing viggo during the ending fight scene during one of the shots apparently he had an accident where he almost lost his ear as it was almost torn off. Also Keanu performs 90% of all his stunts.
Markus only took the job to get close to John. He needed a cover to help his friend. He hit the pillow on purpose to wake John up. He couldn’t kill Perkins because that would violate Continental rules.
An interesting detail I never noticed at 21:00 after Marcus alerts John to Perkins breaking into his room. John startles, sees where the bullet impacted, and then rolls IN THAT direction off his bed, despite it being a longer roll than simply off his bed to his left. Why? Because if the sniper genuinely missed-as John would likely think they did-they'd be readjusting their aim to their right, his left. By rolling to his right, their left, he's rolling counter to the sniper's readjustment, buying himself more time to get out of their sightlines. Then he sees Perkins is in his room, and immediately rolls across the bed again, once again countering the sniper's new adjustment. Then, while he's preparing to use his sling as a weapon, we see him glance towards the window, because he's pinned down by Perkins and wondering why the sniper hasn't taken another shot yet since he's exposed and stationary, possibly realizing the shot was intended as a warning.
Just FYI, John's car is a 1969 Ford Mustang GT Fastback with the 351 V8 engine. In my personal opinion, still one of the best looking sport/muscle cars ever designed. Something about 1969 just made every major car company bring their absolute A game that year.
For those who don't understand why Marcus "accepted" the job; he didn't really. There's a reason why he asked if the contract for John's head was open because that would allow him to help John while giving Viggo the impression that Marcus would kill Wick for him. If the contract was exclusive to him, he would be found out sooner and killed.
Remember...at the start when John killed 12 people in his house he made a call asking for a dinner reservation for 12, that's why the cleanup crew shows up. So then when the hotel manager asks jonh if he will make a dinner reservation after the noise complaint it's to offer the same service.
I always love when he asks Francis about the weight loss, hes asking how many man are inside ( 20 kilogram= 20 man) and he held the courtesy to let him live for the old times
When I was a kid, a neighbour hated dogs. Some days he would drunk himself to neck and would randomly hit stray dogs with stones or rods. Once he hit a puppy with a big stone so hard on his ribs that the pup flew 2-3 feet away. That was my favourite pup and certainly the most handsome looking. Hardly 2-3 months old. He went and sat behind a tree. Apparently same place where he was born. I took some ice cream for him but he didn’t ate. He was just crying in pain. I knew he won’t make it through the night and I just sat nearby him for some time. I cried too hard that night. He passed away that day, terrified in pain and agony.

Think of me, you're always in the dark
I am your light, your light, your light
Think of me, you're never in the dark”
When it comes to the John Wick universe instead of being surprised that someone knows John Wick. Just expect every single person to know who John Wick is. It saves a lot of time.
haha😂yes it really seems like everyone knows him
And then, John Wick 3 came out.... I dont want to spoil that film, but if you think this film is crazy....
@@hendrikworung1967 I think it’s the best one
Jimmy, Francis and Aurelio are the only smart characters in this film. They knew to not get in John's way. 🤣🤣🤣
Not sure if anyone in any other film has ever had better situational awareness than Jimmy.
I love the massive respect everyone had cause they knew lol
I would count the big, tough guys in Aurelio's garage as he walked in. They all stopped their work and watched him pass by. They know who he is and they were there when Iosef proudly and loudly admitted that he, "...sure fucked up his dog." When Iosef said that, one) as angry they were, they couldn't touch him; and 2) killing him in the garage is just getting in John Wick's way.
"Aww now he won't be alone!"
Me: "Oh you sweet summer child."
Magy: ... so John Wick is somebody here?! ...
Viggo: “ The bodies he buried that day ... laid the foundation or what we are now!”
Magy: 😱😵😱 ...
John Wick: ... Tactical Shooting with guns, Brazilian Jiu-jitsu, Judo ...
Magy: 😱😃 ... I understand now why they are so afraid of him! ... 🥰😍
Baba Yaga: 😈😎😜🤓
Loved the reaction, except you left out my favorite scene. When the cop shows up at his house, sees the dead bodies and is just like "have a good day Sir"
Don't forget the question, 'are you working again?
"No! Your son would still be alive if he did not do that!" That's right, but such people typically do not take responsibility for their actions.
"This movie is starting dark.". Welcome to John Wick. It's one hell of a ride.
I’m really glad you liked it. This movie came outta nowhere and it’s now my favorite Keanu movie which is saying a lot
The best part is all the shooting and martial arts you see in the movie, Keanu reeves can do in real life and has trained to do.
Keanu reaves is the best and he is the most kind actor in Hollywood.
"only one minute in the movie and somebody died already" . .. woman, you've no idea what you're in for. 😂😂
Magy: “That’s such a stupid way to be killed!”
Me: Are there smart ways to be killed?
that is a good point😂
I guess there could be if you wanted to die. lol
No, but there are honorable ways to be killed.
If you are killed by a pen thruogh your eye, that isn't a stupid way to die -wink, wink-
@@prohiadam9 Hard to wink with a pen in the eye.
John wick is one of the best action series of all time. U will love the second and third, and even better a fourth movie is coming out next year!
Yeah I wanna see her react to John kill someone with a pencil, A forkin pencil.
@@shawnofdanaukota3843 I also wanna see her reaction to John killing a giant in a library, with a book... a fooking book
The Baba Yaga monologue is so haunting, you think about looooong after the movie is over. Such a masterful scene!!
John Wick used a pencil as a weapon, how awesome is that.
Jason Bourne used a biro(pen)
(Russian Accent) Who the fuck does that?

I stopped the video to post this : Watching Magy enjoying the cuteness of the sweet little dog at the beginning, knowing what's going to happen... Well damn, I'm already sorry for your little heart !
"It's 5 minutes and somebody died already", you should really look up the official John Wick movie body count tracker.
oh yessss I will check it haha
@@MagicMagy wait until you watch the next two movies
When John pulled Vigo's knife into him... it's called "Sheathing the Sword". You only try it in life or death situations, and you make sure to take the stab in a non-vital spot. Sure as hell will hurt, but you will live, and the other person will die. If you remember, John was already stabbed right there with a bottle, so what better place to be stabbed again?
Magy: I'm seriously not counting them anymore.

I had a little doggy die in my hands. I was sitting at a bus bench and he ran out into the street and got hit by a car. I petted him and told him it was gonna ok...didnt make it. Drank a beer and cried for an hour.

@@MagicMagy i would tell about another little dog me n a friend tried to get out of road but it was graphic. He called his wife because he was traumatized.
Awww that's sad
19:27 I'm seriously not counting them anymore... Smart, very smart.
“Now youu ur r scared now your scared.” This child had never seen the eyes of a true elite Warrior.
When he saw that he… attempted. To dip 😂 😂
But I agree with you Queen completely. “We need that same energy! Where that go ya shrimp!”
20:30 You may or may not have noticed but the doctor was the actor who played the Keymaker from Matrix Reloaded.
I have watched this movie several dozen times and never noticed that! That is fucking cool!
This was just uploaded 25 minutes ago and it's the third John Wick reaction in a row for me this morning. I was literally 2 seconds into Perry Comics' reaction to John Wick 2 after just having watched his reaction to part 1 when I saw this upload and figured I might as well watch a 3rd John Wick reaction because it's Magy.
really 😂😂lol ,I watched it because so many people suggested it to me
@@MagicMagy Keanu Reeves' movies get suggested on everyone's channels, the John Wick series is the most popular.
I wanna suggest "Mask" with Eric Stoltz and Cher, there's a golden retriever puppy that lives through the whole movie. Nobody suggests it and it's something I think you would like. It'll make you cry, bring tissues.
@@MagicMagy I might add to Human Fella's post (suggestion of "Mask) and suggest "Cast Away."
"This movie is starting, like, dark" -- Magy
Compared to what comes later, this movie starts like a sunny day at the beach...
BTW: notice John Wick doesn’t harm a single innocent bystander. 😎
Not sure if someone already commented. But his friend that was sent to kill him got that job so no one else would kill him. He missed his sniper shot on purpose to alert him that the girl was coming to kill him. That's also why he helped wick when he was choking
"So savage"
That's a pretty apt way of describing John Wick!

Magy is reacting to "John Wick"
"Oh"
John Wick’s suits have a bulletproof lining, it stops most bullets not all and it doesn’t stop knives. He can still get stabbed and the bullets will still bruised and brake bones.
"Are their seriously people who do that!?" i could tell you stories.
Magy is the cutest reactor on RUclips.
Don't worry, sweetie, nobody thinks you're a bad person for enjoying this movie and rooting for John.
3 actors that work in the Matrix 2&3
Keanu Reeves (Neo) (John Wick)
Daniel Bernhardt (Guy throws John for second floor at the club) played the Agent smith replacement and Randal Duke ( the doctor) was the keyaster.
"The bodies he buried that day, laid a foundation of what we are now."
Gives me goosebumps everytime.
Now I know why you are Magic. No matter how I feel watching you makes me happy.
YES!!! the music in the red circle, especially in the basement is SO GOOD!
"Its only 1 minute in, and somebody died already" - also known as the warm up for the rest of the movie.
My favorite reaction to John Wick is always the 'you can't kill the dog!!!!' outrage just cause...
Without a dead dog there is literally no film xD
Magy says ‘Oh they start the film dark’ is an understatement for what’s coming.
John Wick was retired for many years so he didn't expect anyone coming to his house for any reason. Now he will expect and be ready for anything.
Just FYI, John's car is a 1969 Ford Mustang GT Fastback with the 351 V8 engine. In my personal opinion, still one of the best looking sport/muscle cars ever designed. Something about 1969 just made every major car company bring their absolute A game that year.
Magy: "Oh its only 1 minute in the movie and someone has already died"
Everyone else: Well your in for a shock then
For those who don't understand why
Marcus "accepted" the job; he didn't really.
"They did a great job!" was amazing.
He passed away that day, terrified in pain and agony.
wow how can people like that even exist😡
thank you for being with him until the end🥺❤️
