I never played this myself, but that I picked off from these few episodes, is that you don't so detailed needs than in urbz, but you still have them, if one drops low, it becomes urgency and then the thought bubble appears telling what they need. I think that if you regularly take care of their needs, it keeps them getting urgent. Not sure though.
just saying this game has lots of 'hidden' stuff.. i learned to just walk around and interact with all sims.. sometimes in an episode you can encounter someone who doesn't ''match'' 'the theme' of given episode. there is a trick to get max points in every ep but it requires to ''feel'' this game.. i know it all sounds out of nowhere but i don't wanna put out too many spoilers and i believe that soon you will understand what i mean.. i know this hand better than the back of my hand.. also whatever you chose while making your sim adds up to your score.. either friendly or romantic convos can make or break this game..
