- Many people have jumped swiftly to various erroneous conclusions about the deaths in the English town of Southport. Such incidents, although rare, are not wholly unknown in our country's history history.

My statement on Southport.
A mental health issue doesn't make you take a machete and seek out the weakest most vulnerable and most innocent in our society and murder them in cold blood.
This wasn't random it was planned, he took a taxi to the venue where he knew they would be, entering through an unlocked door.
Once inside he traumatised these sweet little girls dancing to their favourite Taylor Swift songs, killing two and wounding countless more.
I won't be gaslite that this is mental 'elf, and if someone had just said mate at the right time this could have all been adverted.
A pre-mediated, cold blooded murder, of these young girls is not a mental health episode, it is one of the few things our blind politicians refuse to see, it is evil motivated by a hatred of our society, and of our people and seeks to violate us in the most awful way possible by attacking the most innocent and precious amongst us; our daughters.
Every father, every mother knows that this is evil, pure cold blooded evil, but instead of facing this evil our politicians, our royals, our 'leaders' have spouted nothing but platitudes all day and it's making me sick.

Let us promise that those little angels taken from us today will not be lost in vain, and that we will honour them by ensuring this never ever happens again.

When I heard the news I immediately thought it fell outwith what Simon talks about regards ethnicity of perpetrators. The fact it was such a young teenager made me think this was not the now "run of the mill" violence the UK is experiencing (i.e. there's no way to know the offenders ethnicity.)

In 2017 Salman Abedi (also British born) specifically targeted an Ariana Grande audience knowing a high casualty rate amongst vulnerable children, specifically little girls would have maximum horror, fear, anger and terror impact on UK/Western psyche.
The events in Southport were NOT (as initially reported) the random actions of someone with mental health issues. This was targeted, researched and specifically chosen for all the above reasons… pure terror… don’t be surprised if a livestream to handlers overseas surfaces in the coming days.

In 2023 a man of African heritage called Valdo Calocane murdered three people in Nottingham. He was raised in Wales. He is now in a secure psychiatric hospital.
Now we have a man of African heritage, allegedly born and partly raised in Wales killing at least two children and known to local mental health services.
In December 1992 Christopher Clunis, a man who had spent time in a Jamaican psychiatric hospital and was well known to services in London, killed one Jonathan Zito at Finsbury Park tube station. Clunis too ended up in a secure psychiatric hospital.
Is such random violence and its association with paranoid schizophrenia more likely to be encountered in black people? Well, there's a question but being told that the Stockport attacker is not a recent refugee does not, I'm afraid, make me feel any safer.

I'm not sure there is any equivalence between a 10-year-old killing one person and a 17-year-old killing multiple people. Also, the context of the times we live in plays a massive part. There have been many multiple killings in the last years of whole families and children. On the whole certain types of crime involving knives have increased massively due to weak laws and prosecutions plus certain types of immigration. Have a look at who per capita commits the most and victims of knife crime in London for example. It will be very interesting to see who this person actually is and his motives. The word "from" is frequently misused by MSM.

These crimes were indeed not unkown but were very rare. The fact that you had to cast back over a hundred years to find a few examples shows that.
They are now very common, both here, in Eire and across occupied Europe and are almost always committed by the invaders or their children.
In the middle East, Asia and Africa this kind of violence is also rife and usually associated with islam.

The main point about Southport is not, as you claim, "invented stories". It's about a teenage Rwandan boy, whose parents were allowed to settle in this country, attacking children in a dance school. We had something similar in Dublin recently: children attacked by a knife-wielding man. The man arrested is an Algerian, a guy who has been living on the taxpayer for 23 years. Many of us believe that these men should not have been in the country.
It tells us that our politicians are indifferent, callous and treacherous. There is no chance of voting our way out of this.

early on one of the tv stations had a young girl commenting that she had been involved. She said he was wearing a green hoody and was black. The conference said he was wearing a black top. Low and behold this morning a video shows an agitated person pacing up and down wearing a green top. Obviously children are more reliable than adults at giving the correct information.

Many people in the UK already know who he is. These areas are close communities and he will be known. The truth will come out, but it wont bring back the lives of those children. I'm taking my granddaughter to London this weekend from the Netherlands where I've lived for over 32 years, showing her granddad's old stomping ground in and around south London where I originally hail from and taking her to the west end . To be honest I'm quite worried for our safety, south London is not the same place it was when I grew up there, it was multicultural even in the 1970's and 80's but was safe and friendly and where no one had to consider whether or not you'd get stabbed or assaulted. Can't say that now after family members that still live there warned me to be careful as my South London streetwise attitude won't cut it any more, it is no longer conducive to the area in question, Lambeth/Brixton and Sothwark/Camberwell. It just demonstrates to me how dangerous the country has become where I am now seriously considering not visting London but maybe going to visit family just outside London in Aylesbury where I'm told is a lot safer. Sorry for any offense but this sort of thing does make you think twice, especially when I have a child to consider.

Whilst it is true there are historical records of violent and random crimes but when in a period of seven days there have been two frenzied stabbings and a manic response to "I need to have a word with you" and all the suspects are "visitors" to these shores, it is not unreasonable to look for a connection. The hot weather, Brexit or something else?

You forgot to mention what happened to two students and a janitor, stabbed to death last year, committed by a person from Wales with mental health issues, thats another pattern? There is no excuse for any of those heinous crimes, but they have increased and the general public know why! Those families will be traumatised forever, something needs to be done, so we can feel safe in our own country!

I usually respect and enjoy Simon's output but this is not the case with the above video. There is actually no comparison with the stories from the past that Simon cites and that of yesterday's perpetrator who got a taxi to the location of the children's dance event and then stabbed at least ten children, two of them fatally. A truly evil act. In my opinion this is a unique act of premediated, extraordinary violence. This is not some crazed loon stabbing passers by in some kind of random frenzy, it is a pre-meditated act. Secondly, the reason the social media is rife with rumours about the identity of the perpetrator is that the authorities refuse to give any but the but the most superficial details so understandably outraged members of the public are bound to speculate: the missing information will be supplied even if it is false information.

Latest I've heard is that he was born in Cardiff although that does not define heritage. Being under 18 will delay things and of course if he is foreign that will be hidden for as long as possible.
