Glad A380s are gradually coming back
They are. But I'm curious why no US airlines have had any A380s. Maybe in the future there will be. American and United would be the first two if they do. Maybe Delta also.
I flew to London from Chicago on American Airlines last time I went there, in fact it was a 777 just like the one at 42:55. I think that that one there is likely going to Chicago. Or maybe to Miami, another of AA's hub

Probably the best trip report I've seen on youtube. There's so much about this trip report that other yt channels need to be aware of. NO inane selfies trying to be clever as you walk through the terminal. NO endless (& I mean ENDLESS) footage of a pre-departure lounge (HINT: THEY ALL LOOK ALIKE). And talking of departure lounges, my biggest pet peeve is useless footage as I've just mentioned, and then SPEEDING UP THE TAKEOFF ROLL. Gross gott! I really enjoyed the relaxing selection of the AVOD, the final approach, the clear pics of the onboard meals. What I found significant is the onboard crew when you left the aircraft. "Oh, a person. Oh, a person. Oh, a person. Oh.... a person." Like you'd lingered too long at a party they didn't invite you to. It wouldn't occur to them to smile and say goodbye or even thank you. Why, you only chose to fly BA; why should they go out of their way (& it IS going out of their way) to acknowledge you?

I tell you something: This is the most honest video as far as flights go....simplicity of the reality, for a moment, I thought I was flying in there!!! No 1st class, background chats and noises.... pure & simple....very real!!!

A380 is a monster plane
I ride on my first A380 in 7 weeks from Boston to Munich, about 7.5 hours. Super excited! Biggest I have been on is a 777 which is a ship of a plane, but this will be on another level. Can't wait.

@@aleshaviationtravel not only has the A380 (I’m not sure which airline) landed at both Dublin and Shannon, it has also landed at Ireland West (Connaught/Knock) Airport in the beautiful West of Ireland, originally built by Mgr. James Horan at Charlestown Co. Mayo in order to allow sick and disabled pilgrims to reach the nearby Knock Catholic Marian Shrine, which is a huge deal for the people of the West of Ireland given our Irish history

42:55 - I bet that America Airlines aircraft was going to Chicago. That's the city I flew through when coming from London Heathrow on AA, plus Chicago is an AA hub
It’s good that BA has its own terminal like Aer Lingus has at Dublin, but I did not see the check in (although airport security is an obvious one not to video) - Living in Manchester 21 years and having family in Ireland, I gave up flying home to Ireland in 2010 because I can’t stand the hassle of airport security, especially at Manchester (and in any case, I’m closer to Liverpool) so I go SailRail via Chester and Holyhead for the ferry to Dublin

Hi Alesh. Asfak here from Boston 🇺🇸 I seen every day take off and landing most of the flights I m staying close to Logon Int airport. My dream is one day I want to fly with Giant wide body British Airways A380.

Go to try it, but better option is Singapore Airlines or Emirates from JFK, if you want to try better version of A380 than BA offers.

This is why I’m such a firm believer in ultra strict, military style parental discipline - as children, we would never have even dared to behave like that towards our traditional Irish Catholic parents, else we (quite rightly) would have got a good hard slap from the ages of 2-16 and got firmly told to be quiet in the good old days when corporal punishment was the norm and was expected as the moral obligation of parents regarding misbehaving children “speak only when spoken to” “children should be seen and not heard” - During Covid lockdowns in my area, parents went back to these traditional ways of child rearing again with great success

This terminal 5 looks so dingy and dirty and very poor lighting. OMG. How chaotic long winding walkways and up and down to finally make it to the plane for goodness sake. Are all the terminals like this at Heathrow?
