He's been playing in the back four for club, but his passing is better than 95% of top level midfielders and his crossing is at least as good as anyone else's on the planet. As a RB last season he had more chances created and touches than anyone and yet he still mentions to the media that he worries he doesn't get involved in the game enough at full back. You literally cannot injure the guy. He never dives. He never makes a selfish decison. He doesn't even celebrate much after scoring or winning if there's still work to be done to win the league etc. He dribbles better than the vast majority of forwards and wingers. He never criticises other players. I could go on.
Hasebe is SO reliable. There should be an award for THAT.
