To be fair to raditz. He got more work done in his short time on screen than most anime characters combined. Lead to the MC's death. Forced a hero villain team up. Twist of Goku not being an earthling and no the tail wasn't a giveaway Tori said so. I honestly consider his fight the epilogue of db and prequel to z more as it basically opened up the world and universe to aliens
He has the incredible honor of being the only canon resident of Hell (ignoring Spike as the king). He's not special in that he was dropped. So too was Nappa (all his credit got given to Vegeta). Goku's father also didn't matter. Or his mother. Family didn't mean much. Even Grandpa Gohan falls off (canon never visits him again after the bout at Baba's).
@@LOL-gn5oh And he gets powercrept so hard that the Saibamen are his equals, and Yamcha and Krillen become strong enough to fodderize him in 6 months. He's not even treated as a joke like Yamcha or Yajirobe either. At least they get to be in the plot sometimes. Nope, he's just straight up forgotten, never to be mentioned ever again. Goku's brother...made into a sidenote to introduce the rest of Z. Look, nobody ever accused Toriyama of being amazing with writing familial relationships...or really relationships at all.
He probably had those Cartoon Network promos drilled into his memory with "My name is Recoome, it rhymes with doom, and you'll be hurting all too soon!"
It's so funny to remember that Raditz is Goku's brother. Like, just by virtue of knowing Goku his friends and family are some of the most important beings in the universe. But his own flesh and blood brother, the only living relative he had that wasn't his own children, is almost completely inconsequential and laughably weak. And frankly, in a series where being dead is barely even a handicap, it's crazy that Raditz never came back after his first and only contribution to the story. I don't think it's a bad storytelling decision, but it is a very bizarre one
He wasn't popular enough to redeem him like other villains and to be fair, the power gap between him and Goku was bigger than the gap he had the first time he went against Vegeta for example. Or at least he had something like Kaioken to close such power gap
Vegeta:I'm the prince of all saiyans
Luna hime:I'm the reason you can go monkey nanora

I just hate that he is just thrown in the side and like he never existed.
Funny how he's friggin' Goku's brother and yet Toriyama made him less relevant than f*cking Yajirobe.
@@LOL-gn5oh Did he even show up in HFIL?

What a coincidence! Luna-tan is my oshi too
She may have been an average Nanora...
But she was a BRILLIANT BABY!
I resonate with the guy who said Yamcha was their oshi
Yamcha the goat 🐐
Hime was in such disbelief she had to repeat it 3 times
Justice for my dude Raditz 💪 he woulda had a lot of potential if he didn't get shishkabob'd by Piccolo
she sounded so shocked lmao
Good Clip! I especially like that you added chat to give context and reactions
*Sad MasakoX noises*
I for once, used to adore Freeza very much.
Dude is the only villain that got styles imo.
Could this be the beginning of Luna's "super saiyan" arc?
Probably due to his missed potential as Goku's brother and video game expanded his characterization beyond what was shown.
The guy who likes Recoome's probably a Kaigai-niki I bet coz he's an absolute chad in the DBZ abridged. He went out swinging and doing what he loves.
He probably had those Cartoon Network promos drilled into his memory with "My name is Recoome, it rhymes with doom, and you'll be hurting all too soon!"
Gohan oshi all the way
Is it just me or is Luna humming Tapion’s theme at the beginning? That’s actually really cool if she is!
Lol that was random as hell but very funny

He is one of the villains in the story that manage to kill Goku. And he became nothing in the series

Duo maxwell oshi.
Imagine watching dragonball in the 1999s. Cringe.
