They do have uncoated blades available
There will be an uncoated version. I believe the uncoated version has a higher hrc than the dlc version.
@@ADSUPINTHIS yeah, hrc with dlc and PVD are always a bit lower because of the temperatures required to apply those coatings,
@@Kutaca How many points? I recently picked up a Spyderco Salt PM2 w/ a coated magnacut blade, so far the hardness is pretty disappointing.

I think he said 62/63hrc. Only because it gets alot more expensive and risky warping blades or whatever trying to reach higher hrc

Is it a hollow grind? It looks fantastic and, yes, it sounds fantastic.
A milled handle and a bolster or thin frame lock would make this a winner for me. But that fat lock bar, hammered texture miss my check list. Thanks for the vid!
