- VS eteled Reincarnate was cancelled. Really sad, I loved the original mod.
I saw a mod on GameBanana called "VS eteled Mini-Reincarnate". It was a horrible port of the original songs with horrible covers with the new chromatics, and horrible ports of 2 Reincarnate songs (Ataraxia, and Soul Chained)
That's what inspired me to do this. I did ports of other songs with remade covers too, but I won't be showing those, I made those for fun and they will stay private.
(THIS IS NOT A REVIVAL. THIS IS A ONE OFF THING. THIS WON'T BE DOWNLOADABLE.)
The main changes are obviously using the new eteled and Austin sprites, and I put in a remade cover using the new chromatics. I also added BF in the background, because if GF is gonna be there, BF should be too. The unused attack mechanic from Reincarnate is also here as well.

Friday Night Funkin' is an open-source rhythm game first released in 2020 for a game jam. The game was developed by a team of four Newgrounds users, Cameron "Ninjamuffin99" Taylor, David "PhantomArcade" Brown, Isaac "Kawai Sprite" Garcia, and evilsk8r.

Plaything is my favorite song in the Eteled mod and omg does this sound amazing with the new chromatics for Eteled and Austin and I really love the attack and dodge animations for the both of them, it makes it look like they're having a battle whilst having a rap battle. This is going straight to my favorite songs playlist because of how godlike this looks and sounds 👍👍👍👌👌👌😎😎😎🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

(Warning! Incoming Rant! Don’t Have To Read This If You Don’t Want To!)
Im’a be honest here. I’m not a fan of either Reincarnated or System Overload. Reincarnated for reasons other people have likely mentioned, and System Overload because I don’t really like the psychopath interpretation of Eteled. The original draw of the og creepypasta, as I’m sure we could all understand here, was the fact that Eteled was someone who we could at least understand why he lashed out at Kyle or anybody who deleted him. To me, personally, I saw the main underlying theme of the story as THANATOPHOBIA, the fear of death, which I’d say lines up pretty well with how much Eteled does NOT like being deleted. And sure, you can point out the fact he may or may not have been a murderer in his human life, but if you ask me, I’d say becoming a Mii, a character that could be fairly easily killed by anybody playing on the console if they chose to delete him (and just because he knows how to escape the hallway doesn’t mean it doesn’t still hurt a lot) maybe gave him some sort of new appreciation for life, either that or maybe he just doesn’t like people in general, and maybe prefers Miis or such over real people, either works for me.
Take all the moral grayness from him, and you just end up with something… kinda bland….
You get me? System Overload does not have that same charm, that same draw, the original creepypasta had.
By the my, if y’all want to ever re-experience the og story under a new style or charm, while still keeping the original draw and/or theme of THANATOPHOBIA, I REALLY suggest you watch the Wii Deleted You Remake by VibingLeaf.

There are some game overs in Eteled Reincarnate the canceled mod, which I Explain the game over ones, Week 1: in Ataraxia Eteled Throws BF into the Delete Button, in Deep Rooted he kills BF with his Axe ,in Reclamation Austin kills Bf with his claws, in the scrapped song Artifical Purgatory Eteled kills Austin on a slash from his axe, that's all I can tell you about the game overs of Week 1 I'm sorta lazy to do Week 2 game overs,

Their Chromatics are better in Reincarnate in my opinion.
