Please, write! In one of the episodes, an engine or generator was shown, which needs to be accelerated using a turntable, and then it itself maintains the gained speed due to the formation of electricity during rotation. What is it called?
Someone in another video said “ricks laugh is what my car sounds like when it starts “
My grandpa actually has a babe Ruth baseball card
THEN why didn't you start with the phone calls instead of going to a pawn shop that has to double their money on it?
I was wondering the exact same thing! That seller consistently has unrealistic expectations.
TV appearance.
Exactly what I was thinking!!!
Free marketing which he probably even gets paid for
he probably sold it over the phone before he came in.
he only came here for tv appearance and to get paid for being on the show.
For once I actually think Rick made a too high offer.
The guy ended up selling it for 72k at auction.

What you are looking for is that I was being overly literal....you must be from the right?
I love the fact Craig is always there for this seller
And the seller always disagree with the appraisal lol
I know right! Rick calls Craig for certain customers 😂
I think craig may undervalue everything and that's why rick keeps calling him back. BUT craig didn't make any sense here. he said, you just never see these things come up for sale. which means, the collector that's looking for it and just HAS TO HAVE IT will pay a PREMIUM. yet craig then went on to say. I WOULD NOT VALUE THIS as to what the HAD TO HAVE IT COLLECTOR WOULD PAY. that a contradiction. he basically just said a collector who really wanted it would have to pay a premium to get it. nobody would want something like that except a big time collector. his isn't like a vintage firearm where all sorts of people would love to have one and would even pay good money for one.

It's rumored that man still is trying to sell the crossbow today. He is wondering the streets of Vegas asking if anyone wants to buy it.
5 bucks, take it or leave it
Actually someone in the comments said he sold it for 14K and then it got re sold again for 22K.

That guy always comes in overvaluing his items!!
It is normal for the seller to overvalue the items tho, if they undervalue they lose money
And he’s one of those “that’s your opinion guys”. Well yeah technically is just an opinion, but as he’s the expert he’s the one people listen to. That’s like an estate agent valuing your house and when you think it’s worth more telling them “that’s just your opinion.” Makes literally zero sense.
I don't think he's ever sold anything to them too
I think that" expert" always undervalues
That crossbow is incredible. That condition is amazing.

The price is an insult to the medieval cross bow community.

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
He had one mounted on the roof of his SUV
lol
You cant value something you don't know, the expert needs to call another expert for that one.but Rick made a good call!
Okay, this guy already knew people, why did he even bother coming in? Lol
My thoughts as well.
If Rick did not tell THE EXPERT that the Seller wants 12 Thousand Dollars for it then who did? See again, at the end he says He ain't getting that 12k. When did the Seller tell him about that. Remember the seller said double than 7k so he should have said YOU AIN'T GETTING 14K for it. How come exactly them same 12k?
A lot of these negotiations are edited quite heavily, it is quite possible either the seller or Rick told the expert.

All the best items and episodes comes from this Davis guy ! May though God be with Him!!! Good Sir! PROUST!

I thought he was gonna say at the end that he's gonna make a few phone calls and have Rick killed.
I was the guy who the seller called after he left the shop. I offered him $350 and we made a deal.
Ayo Davis always ready to throw hands 😂😂
Wow I'm glad I saw this i miss the old man rip my friend
Rarely would there be a 100 men defending a castle.
In Holland, one famous medieval castle was held for weeks with a defending garrisson of about a dozen men.
The castle itself provided much of the protection and with a smaller garrisson, food and water would not run out as fast.
Legend says that guy is still making phone calls 😂
This guy comes in all the time, and he always argues prices. He knows what they are worth, and knows that he’s asking for more than it’s worth.
Customer: “I know the guy with the labored laugh at the shop loved it.”
Did you do the calls?
What a piece of history right there!
U should never tell a pawn shop that u are in a hurry to sell it or that u need to sell it. It makes it so easy for them to lowball u or take advantage of ur desperation for their gain.
I still don't understand why so many people think they will get top dollar for ANYTHING at a "Pawn Shop"!!!! It's a "Pawn Shop" NOT a Gallery, Museum, or some high-end antique Auction Hall! It's a freakin "PAWN SHOP"!!!! You want top dollar? get on the damned phone and do your own calling around. You'll find that after all the time you spent researching, the fees involved in getting someone to sell it at top dollar for you that you won't get that top dollar figure you expected! For you to get top dollar you have to cut out the middleman like Rick. But now YOU have to get on the phone, the internet, and contact a slew of people, send a slew of emails with pictures, deal with a slew of people all saying they'll give you top dollar offering less than what you expect because they're trying to get a deal. Hence, how much time and effort do you want to spend being your own middleman? How much is all your time and effort worth to you?
"I'm gonna make a few phone calls," but I drove to a pawn shop?!?!
I love this guy,he knows how to negotiate
Legend says "he's still dialing that phone and still have that crossbow in his hand"
Nice negotiation by the Old Man.
This was something Rick legit wanted, you saw that glimmer in his eye
Why this guy always comes back and then disagrees with the experts
He might be deranged and enjoys to disagree with experts.
@@erikh7278 its always that one expert he usually disagrees with
Baffles me when they disagree with them and say “that just your opinion”. The literal reason the expert is there is to authenticate the item and value it. You can’t just disagree with him 😂
The expert gets part of the profits ...
@@him050 It is an opinion. It's not like it's an item that gets hundreds of sales... Price for very rare items have a much larger margin.

Please, write! In one of the episodes, an engine or generator was shown, which needs to be accelerated using a turntable, and then it itself maintains the gained speed due to the formation of electricity during rotation. What is it called?
Craig vs Davis is always hilarious
Ok, on this crossbow, they called Craig, and on a later crossbow, they called Alex. Why wouldn't they have called one or the other on both?
One was season 7 and the other was season 17.
"Let me get a buddy of mine William Tell to come here"
I’m wondering if these are reuploads
Man walks out of pawn shop without deal: “I’ll pick up the phone and it’s not going to last”
Nice
"What do we got here?" "I brought in a item that no one ever brings into a Pawn Shop just so Rick and an expert tell a history lesson on it."
Some people are too arrogant. If they're capable of selling an item them selves they wouldn't be at a pawn shop with it.
This the kind of guy that says to girl I’m about to blow your back out, and then finishes in 3 seconds. Lol
That bead chain on the front is definitely old school lol
Whoa whoa whoa, to be clear, they can go through things like mail...but a knights armor was meant to specifically protect against these because mail didn't work. But I'm sure a windlass crossbow could go through low quality armor, like some cheap brigandine
What an attitude. He should have brought it into a pawn store if he wanted more. As we all know, Rick needs to make money.
When this expert guy went in the shop, you know he is not going to give you a good price
I like to cut myself every time Rick laughs at himself.
He probably already tried picking up the phone but didn’t find anyone that would give him what he wanted
I tried looking up the crossbow from this episode and never found out if he sold it or how much thus bow has sold for in the past.
its crazy how ignorant most antique arms collectors are
There should be a video compilation of hillarious sellers beefing with Craig
This is the one time I hope that guy picked up the phone and said 12 thousand and even they laughed
I won’t lie can you guys start showing new items I’ve seen these on the channel before
Rick- "This was the first armor piercing bullet". No, it wasn't. The arrows the English long bow men shot were the first AP bullets.
This dude cannot negotiate whatsoever. The problem with pawnbrokers is that most of the time, they value things less than what they’re actually worth.
@Pete Suppose so. Pawnbrokers is the easiest and quickest way to make money
@Pete They usually rip people off all the time. Thats how they stay in business
@@Len1977gt It’s not “ripping them off.” It’s how a pawn shop works. You’re never going to get it’s MSRP from a pawnbroker. I work in a pawn shop, and I swear most of these customers are so stupid. People need to learn what a pawn shop is before coming in with the intent of getting exactly what they want for it.
