  • I saw it. I bought it. I regret it. Hopefully others don't have the same struggles with this exhaust like I do. But its on! It sounds GOOD! So I'm good with it.

    Husky 701 owner here. I bought the Yosh can as it is a little longer and ends under the left signal, so it can't melt it. Also, the Yosh has a spark arrestor included, which I need as I off road ride my bike. In the end though, as a tuner I know said, a 2" hole is a 2" hole. Losing the stock can gets rid of a nuclear hot (and I think more than a little unsafe) heat source as it has the CAT in it. Speaking of the CAT, having a CAT in the exhaust does reduce the sound a lot. These are nearly 700cc high compression thumpers, they are gonna be rather loud with a straight through pipe on them.
    Added the Rottweiler O2 sensor eliminator and fueling dongle and it ran better as that richens up the part throttle response some. The stock setup uses the ECU and O2 sensor to run the bike very lean (14.7:1 target AFR) in the most commonly used part throttle cruising RPM zone, and adding a freer flowing exhaust to an otherwise stock bike probably doesn't help matters. Then I added a PC6 with Rottweiler's mapping and the skies parted, the Angels sang and it is 3rd gear throttle up wheelie city, even here in thin air Denver where I live.
    It also pulls off idle way better. Before the PC6 it felt "luggy" below 50 MPH in 6th. Now it snorts from 35 like a train, with low end torque for days. The exhaust note changed with the PC6 too. It sounded a little thin, harsh, and raspy with just the fueling dongle and Yosh on it. Not terrible, but not optimal either. Have been around bikes for a long time and know what a good running thumper sounds like and that wasn't it. Post PC6 the exhaust sound is smooth, deep and fat with no annoying tones to it at all. It is still pretty loud of course, but it seems less loud due to this. Oh ya.
    Highly encourage you to go with the Rottweiler package, but do read the directions first on that PC6. It is a lot more involved than installing an exhaust can 😆

    I made the same mistake and ordered the homologated one. Turns out it included the catalytic converter!
    That's why it weighs that much.

    When mounting my first aftermarked exhaust I was confused about the graphite bushing as well 😂
    But you can rotate the link pipe just slightly in order to move the tip of the exhaust down to make space for the blinker

      Ooo, I will check that out next time I am working on it. Been running without blinkers for so long I forgot they weren't there lol

    Morgan, I just got my exhaust and it’s the same style. There’s three versions of this exhaust short, medium, and long like this one. ( I hate this one and I can’t send it back lol. )

    There is a different Leo Vince pipe that isn't a gigantic black terd and fits with ease.

    • @moto_morgan
      @moto_morgan  Год назад +1

      i noticed after installing this one that the other Leo pipe is shorter. but i liked the black look better, which is why I got it. in the future i will look into these things a little more, but it was also hard to know that this wouldn't fit cause there wasn't a lot of information on it

      @@moto_morgan If you get the BikeLitez tail tidy that has integrated turn signals then it is no big deal.

    So you found the instructions and chose to ignore them completely. What happened to loosening the cylinder head exhaust bolts? You read it and then didn't do it and wonder why the exhaust was then difficult to fit?
    Please don't repair my washing machine.

    • @moto_morgan
      @moto_morgan  Год назад

      Thank you mr jack king for your great concern. However, I turned the camera off for a great deal of the video and I will have you know i did loosen the bolts of which you speak. I will also let you know my troubles were with the missing gasket which it said it would provide (it did not provide). The other trouble was with the blinkers, which would bump into the new exhaust. I have taken the pipe off my bike 3 times now and put it back on and have had no luck with making it fit properly, but i will say that is due to the fact of me looping the bike. I would also like to add that you should take my videos not as serious as this is my first time and i am happy with the results. Also, I have had training with washing machines and would be confident in the repairing of yours. I bid you adieu Mr jack king
