- A surprising result obtained from kindling and epoxy resin.
It is on the wood lathe that the original effect of this bowl is revealed. A meticulous finish obtained with fine sanding and carnauba wax will be necessary to give luster and protection to the work of art. This project is accessible to beginners provided they know how to use woodworking machines.
It is in my carpentry workshop that I film my work in a calm and relaxing atmosphere of the asmr type in order to share my ideas with you.
Good viewing !!

Bon visionnage !!

This may sound corny, but it is as if you have captured the moment of hopeful anticipation of a warm hearth by preserving kindling in this way. This is an astonishing piece!

Gorgeous, love it.
Thank you very much Irene ❤️
Very beautiful. This style of small rustic pieces you did a long time ago (with black epoxy) in another video. I love it. Congratulations
i'm very glad you like it 😉
I really like the "mold" you use when pouring the resin. Its good that you can reuse it and not waste money on cutting up buckets. And as usual, beautiful work. I think a bolder color would be equally impressive, such as maybe a maroon, pearly blue. Of course those are my favorite colors. lol. Very nice.
yes I designed these molds to save time and material😉
I hope you're selling that!! It's a perfect tool to use!!
I love watching your videos. Thank you so much. Your work is amazing 😍🌻💜
Thank you so much 😊
Now that one I really like! The random placing of the smaller pieces of wood really gives this piece such an interesting quirky quality. I love the contrasting colours of the various types of wood against the dark purple resin too. ❤👏👏
thank you Lynn🌸💖 indeed the resin reacted differently depending on the orientation of the small pieces of wood and this gave a nice effect
So interesting Morgan. Lovely.
thank you very much Laura 💖

Thanks Racheal 😊💖💖
@@bawbreizhartwood that’s the wonder of your talent!!
Nice work Morgan
Thanks Barb😊👍
Very nice. My wife watched with me and was wishing you had used clear resin so that the sticks were visible. I live the purple. Clear would give an entirely different personality.
Well done.
thank you for your comment I plan to redo another one with transparency 😉
Beautiful piece, great idea once again!
Thank you so much Dtork😉👍

Thank you so much 😊
Beauitul design 😃😃
thanks Masi 😊
The shot at 13:17 is the perfect view of your creation. Love all the contrasting elements you worked into your piece. Let’s not forget the wonderful resin ribbons that you shared with us, seems I can’t get enough of those for some reason so thanks for keeping them in 😊. Looked like you were stacking a cord of wood for the winter but the end result is much more satisfying!
thank you very much Enaid ,i'm very happy that you appreciate this piece 😊💖💖
Lovely x
Thank you so much Tina😉
You could call it the Fire starter! It’s another wonderful work of art you’ve created Morgan! Beautiful in fact. ❤
Very cool !
Thanks Dennis😊
The piece definitely gave me a 3D effect with the kindling. The purple epoxy was well chosen as it showed the contrast with the white wood, which at times looked like sea shell fragments. I found this art work very interesting as there was a lot to look at. Morgan, you keep surprising us my friend, which is fantastic, thank you and keep safe and well.👍
Hi The Pagan
Thank you for your comment 😉👍
I see that you are a very good observer 👍 indeed the 3 D effect and obtained because the wood I used is hazelnut and it drinks the resin on the surface without going any further and that is what gives this interesting effect
@@bawbreizhartwood Thanks for the explanation, I love learning new things, even at my age. 👍
very kool bowl and a nice funnel repair job :)
Thank you so much 😊
I love this piece!! 💟 It's stunning! 💜
Some as simple as kindling and resin turned into a piece of art! Love the color! 💜
😉 thank you so much 👍👍👍
Very Nice
Thank you very much Tim😉👍
👍👍👍!!!
Thank you so much 😊
Another beautiful, very unique piece. I know from asking previously that you make your own silicone molds. How about a video showing that process?
the manufacturing process is complex and requires material I will show the process soon 😉
It has an art deco look to it.
Thanks Harry 😉
I really like the result. I suggest you put the axe in a vice, and hit the sticks with a mallet... much safer for your fingers!
yes, it's also a solution😉
D'bezt art❤
😉👍
Hi Morgan, I'm a big fan of your work but was wondering what happens to the waste, is it recyclable?
Hi Michael
Yes, wood chips and resins are recycled in a processing plant to be transformed into boards or furniture mainly 😉
Beautiful project. I love the mold you use for resin. Where did you get that. I would love to have one.
Thank you so much for your comment 😉👍
I made made myself this molds
Nice job Do you use pressure pot on that bowl
Yes😉
🏆Fabulous! Did you use a pressure pot for that?
Hi Chris
Yes, to make a success of this kind of piece with a lot of small pieces of wood, it is preferable to use a positive pressure pot
@@bawbreizhartwood Thats a pity, my workshop (shed) is to small for the equipment needed 😐
Nice piece but I would have liked to have seen it with a gloss finish instead of low gloss / matte
Thank you so much for your comment 😉
What is the first liquid you put on? Sanding sesler or oil?
it's oil-enriched abrasive paste😉
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
😉👍
His is asked loads I bet but where do you get your silicon bowls and outer cases from?
andrew
i made myself this molds
Where did you get your mold? Deepest i can find is 3 inch

Здравия желаю. Я ученик по видео, правда не молод уже. А видео с мебелью есть, как краснодеревщика?
Я не знаю 🤔
How many of the same ?

Oops! The bottom of that went a bit awry!

I have a resin idea for you! Have you seen AVSwood’s Epoxy Lava Table video from a couple years ago ( ruclips.net/video/O-155DJz6mk/видео.html ) ? He uses a really cool technique around 5:37 where he’s poured a color resin for a river table, then uses an air gun to agitate it while it’s partially set, then covers it with clear resin. I think it turned out looking really cool, and wonder if you’d do something like this in the future?
thank you for the information😉
this technique is easier to use on flat pieces like the table, but I prepare cylindrical pieces so it will be more difficult to do
Всегда приятно наблюдать за вашей работой! У вас хорошая фантазия! Спасибо за классное видео! Удачи вам!
