Twin-less twin syndrome is just starting to be understood. Losing a twin at birth or anytime can lead to an innate loneliness that a survivor can never figure out. Elvis once stated he felt alone in the middle of hundreds of people. I had relatives that lost a twin girl during their teens. One was hit by a car and though the other was right behind her, she wasn’t hit. The surviving twin was never quite the same. Even years later, she always felt something was missing inside. A part of her she used to say. I’m sure Elvis was deeply affected by his loss and always wondered so many what ifs. There’s a movie called The Identical based on the Elvis story if both twins had lived. Oddly it was a wonderful movie. I saw 5* reviews throughout and decided to watch it and was pleasantly surprised. Ashley Judd and Ray Liotta starred in it amongst others. It’s on U tube as a free movie. It made me do a lot of thinking about Elvis and his loss. Thanks so much as usual for a touching and sensitive video. ❤❤

The surviving twin never gets over it. They have survivors guilt. The mother never gets over losing a baby/child. Both are a lifetime of grieving. Soany of his songs resonates his life experiences. He sang so much about being lonely. Often the living twin cries for the other as babies.and always feels the sense of lost. A friend of mine lost one twin and the other cried nonstop for a yr and a half. Then when a new baby brother came he stopped literally over night.

But I'm sure his twin was always with him, in his good times and in the bad times, supporting and loving him. So beautiful ~ I think Elvis’ twin and his passing was what brought Elvis so close to the world. The ‘hunger’ to be close was always there ~ a constant. Elvis needed the closeness like breathing - People he knew in this life and those he touched with his music could feel the authenticity. And somehow the pain.

The most handsome man,with the most beautiful voice we have ever heard will be loved and missed for many many years to come.i so wish I could have been blessed to have seen you in person, I hope you are happy now elvis ,the whole world loves and misses you and always will.
