one of better video comparisons of day vs swing trading. i think eventually most of day traders turn to swing trading side, because day trading can actually be stressful long term and not everyone can handle it
Excellent and REAL pros.and cons. I think day trading is over glamorized . Both are good .People have different personalities that is the main point. I think
Swing trading over day trading is the winning strategy hands down. Freedom of time to build other projects or work a full-time job to feed longer term investments. Less stress but requires more patience and market psychology.
Would you have any recommendations to *_literal_* beginners? I literally just started learning about this stuff today. I don't even understand much of the lingo yet, like support, resistance, breaking trends, etc...
Only been dabbling for about a month and swings definitely look to be the winning strategy. So many get in and out again before a solid stock plays out. Not to mention if you’re starting with a small account, it’s most likely a CASH account and that means one and done for the day, waiting for cash to settle before the next trade. So make that one trade a good one!
I swing it if im OTM, I Day trade when I reach profit goals since. I’ve adapted to using both methods I’m 3Xs more profitable. I guess I’m both whenever I need to be. I’m patient so I close when I see my profit Targets(I don’t get caught up in money I could have made, Im not greedy and I’m finding I meet or exceed my profit goal 90% of the time. That works for me it may not be for you but don’t pit yourself in a box. 📦
I've been swing traders and 2 times my stop loss been jump down over night , that was Tesla , i got beeg loss. Decided to be day traders where everything under my control. I can be swing when the market steady growing, that's was easy in 17 -20es years before covid, now market unpredictable, hard to be swing traders
Why not do both? Swing trade but also check occasionally on opportunities during the day Surely got a few minutes each day to take on profits if an opportunity arise
Hate to say this but the statement couldn't be more wrong. Source: Been there, done that, pure stupid. Now a profitable swing trader/investor. But of course, do what you like.
Hope ya'll enjoyed this video and have a direction on which aspect of trading you'd like to focus on!

I left day trading and i adopted swing trading, i must say it requires a lot of patience but it great and less risky according to me.

It disguises as more profitable.

Swing trading = exposed to the market for longer = bad.
If you are managing your exposure = proper risk mangement = good.
How's it bad? Are you risking the correct amount per trade, or are you swing trading a small account in standard lots? Use micro lot accounts.
Swing trade seem way better
that’s what i do. just got started.
It all depends on what market gives you
Sometimes day trading sometimes swing trading
