They need to bring back the ferry Boat to Rethymno. It’s unfair that passengers and commercial shipping has to go to Chania for service to Athens. For at leas two years they were advertising "direct service" to Rethymno with American travel agencies leaving customers confused as to why they had to travel by bus to get to Rethymno. They also received subsidies from the Greek government for the Athen to Rethymno service two years after they removed ferry service. This amounted to theft from the government.
