- Members of Liasonites Gathering 2 told us some of their favorite defining Liason moments from over the years and here they are. I wasnt able to include them all because of RUclipss time limit, but I did get most of them.
The music is Nadias Theme (theme from Y&R) ,
Is He The One and the theme from Somewhere In Time from the Somewhere In Time soundtrack.
Most of the scenes are in order, but the very last one is at the end for a reason.

Jason never ever defended anyone the way he defended Elizabeth to Carly he was so fierce and protective of her and still is he doesn't even defend sam like that Jason's true love is elizabeth
I miss Steve Burton as Jason. Steve & Rebecca had great chemistry together. Jason & Elizabeth are soulmates & each other's true love. They deserve to be together in the end happily ever after.
I agree. When Steve was Jason, Jason stood out. Now he's like every other soap character. I don't even watch GH anymore.
Well he is back now so things should change soon!!!

I think that was the best Liason Collection I’ve ever seen! The music was so on point, and loved the clips.
I love Liason they have so much chemistry. Every time Liz and Jason have a scene together it gives me hope that Liason will return.
That was a BEAUTIFUL Video of the love and friendship Jason and Elizabeth has shared over the years, thank you for making it so that I can come here and relive the awesomeness that is LIASON
Thank you so much - this video is so fantasically done! Now THIS is a real supercouple. I firmly believe that while Jason cares for Sam, he doesn't protect and love her as deeply as Elizabeth. Elizabeth was always the one for him, I HATE the writers for splitting them up. They were never given a chance.
Watching this again makes GH right now an even tougher pill to swallow. There is no way this Jason and Elizabeth would not be there for each other...and sorry Jasam fans but he still loves her.. he is not only greiving for his son but for the life he walked away from...call me crazy, delusional, or whatever you want.
I absolutely love this.. I remember watching every scene... They are absolutely one in all their scenes.. We need them back soon...

The writers in 2024 need to recognize all this chemistry between Jason and Elizabeth and with Jason returning put then back together once and for all!!!

Not even the writers of General Hospital can ruin this moment Jason and Elizabeth lives forever in our hearts and Jason had told Elizabeth I Will Always Love You Be always in my heart so Sam no matter how you may have a son with Jason at the end of the day his love was always and forever be with Elizabeth as far as I know I think so I mean don't get me wrong you're with him now the only other person is Franco has that same connection unconditional love live on Jason Lizabeth Spark

There are a lot of videos out there of Jason and Elizabeth but this has to be my favorite one. To think you did it 6 yrs ago yet people still keep watching it and commenting. Thank you for doing such a beautiful job of editing and finding good music to go along. Please make another one.

Yeah, Jason let Lucky raise him because they believed he'd be "safer as a Spencer." This whole mess should be because he was thought to be a Spencer.

Truly amazing video! Included several of my favorite Liason moments! I just watched a Steve/Becky interview and love the fact that Steve admitted he was pushing to keep Liason together. So sad by recent GH events, but am hoping for a s/l redemption in the future - it's a soap and you never know what could happen! Lovin' Liason 4-ever!!

Yep, Jason is still taking up for Liz. Something will happen to expose the truth about Jake and Liason will team up to protect him. It will be slow, but they will get back together.

Concidering he's a married man, I'd hope he feels that way about Kelly and Becky. I heard him say that he and Kelly work hard on their scenes, but with Becky it just happens. It's natural.
I try to stay out of fan wars. To get all bent out of shape over fictional characters is stupid.
I'm not convinced Jasam's for real. Jason is still reacting to news concerning Liz. Plus, Becky was quoted as saying it wasn't over for Liason.

Damn GH writers! All those wasted opportunities. All those beautiful moments that never amounted to anything. Liason is like a beautiful car. Exciting and thrilling. And just as soon as u get on board and are ready to go far, it takes u about 2 miles up the road and then it dies. Just didn' have enough gas to get anywhere.
Come one, let us have more than a couple of months. Can we get this for all the fans that have been a fan of this coupling since 1998. I want something to trigger Jake's memories so that he can be with Liz. I mean, even Carly is up for it!!! Let Sam be happy with Patrick!
Mack V you're so right why can you be the writer for her General Hospital the mistake they made when they took Jason Elizabeth love apart I just don't see the same love with her and Jason and Sam I mean but Sam does look good with the 2nd Jason but for me I don't know why the writers can see it they just didn't have the chemistry Jason and Sam nobody had chemistry like Elizabeth and Jason I wish they can just make one episode when he looking at her and all of a sudden he remembers all these memories and how much he loved her even though he doesn't go back to her it would be nice just to see him look at her and we can see him thinking of her what they used to have but like I said I am so happy with Franco so you better not mess it up

I need everybody that is looking at the soap operas and I need the Riders to see what they've done the best sub Jason Elizabeth my God there's so much love so much room backs so much unconditional love that just makes you just appreciate them both I want to be in something so special as they are I think the writers I just wish they could have got it right made him a couple for a little while

@ilynano To say Sam cant be domesticated is not a complement. Steve has said several times that he likes who Jason is when hes with Liz. He recently told SOD theres a lot of great s/l potential with Liason.
When Jason said he wasnt himself, if you remember, he was talking about Jake. He didnt mention Liz.

Oh, I loved this video so much! I'm really hoping that they bring something back with Jason & Liz. I admit that I've never really liked Jason & Sam together, however, I was sad when they broke them up as a couple (only because it's knowing they have a baby out there & that could potentially mess up things for a Liz & Jason reunion) I just don't know if too much time has passed for them as a couple. Such beautiful memories of the past. I would love for them to find out Jake was still alive!!

@ilynano Considering Liason just won the Super Couple Smackdown and Jasam didn't even make it past the first round, I'd say not. Plus, in true soap fashion and quoting Jason from 2002, "Nothing's ever really over."

Wow.What a wonderful beautiful compilation of Liason acenes and music you out together. It got me teary- eyed, esoecially with the song choices. You chose such emotional music.The first one is ironic, as it is original theme from Young and the Restless. Then the Somewhere in Time theme. Oy vey....added this video to my favorites. I need some kleenex now.....

That was really good! I loved hearing the old Theme song and then of course "Somewhere in Time" is perfect for these two! I really, really wish Liason would be the "end game". I hate jasam.
Take it from an old soapster. Liason will be revisited. I don't know when, but it will happen. They were too popular for the writers to ignore.

@intangiblefancy My sentiments exactly, we can only hope. That is the essence of Liason the hope. No matter what happens or who they are with as soon as you see them together on screen you start hoping again and rooting for them again. It never goes away. Jasam can have a million babies, nothing can break the magic that is Liason. They are ying and yang, leather and lace,opposite side of the same coin. She is not an extension of him she completes him. No time or distance can break the bond.
After I respond to this, I'm done. Like most Jasam fans, you're getting hostile and I refuse to lower myself. Jason NEVER saw any of that as betrayal. Everything you mentioned was to protect someone else and Jason understood that. There was no selfishness in any of it. (unlike some) How did Jason respond to the news of his impending fatherhood? "Marry me." He wanted to marry Liz even if the baby wasn't his.
So I don't even watch gh but I am such a fan of this couple and there are some things I don't understand (in their history) but this video was gorgeous - yeah I think they need to stay together permanently - stupid writers!

@ilynano I agree, to a point. The writers weren't being true to the characters. Liz is strong and brave, but they forgot that. She is the ONLY woman in Jason's life that hasn't betrayed him.
Yes, Aiden's paternity will be revealed, so will Jake's. Soaps are big on irony. And the irony could be that Jason will raise Lucky's son just like Lucky is raising his.
To be fair, as long as the three are on the show, TPTB will have Jason going back and forth to keep both fan bases happy.
Jason and Elizabeth have this beautiful easiness about them a wet and pure love that he never has with Sam........ Jason and Elizabeth belong together
Ohhhhh Kat...you have turned me into a blubbering idiot. At first I was just enjoying the video with a sad smile on my face and anger in my heart at GH...then the Somewhere In Time Theme started and I lost it and started crying over my coffee...I absolutely LOVE that movie, have the soundtrack and listen to it alot (especially that last one).....truly amazing video Kat and it just shows why I fell and stay in love with Liason.
I turn into a blubbering idiot every time I watch Somewhere In Time, too. The soundtrack is the most beautiful I've ever heard.

I guess all that killing for Sonny has just worn Jason down. He is never as animated or happy now. He just has that constipated look on his face, even when he is smiling :(
Liz has betrayed Jason. After Lucky "died," Liz started to like Jason, and Jason liked her. When Lucky returned and began to provoke fights between himself and Jason, Liz ALWAYS took Lucky's side. She called Jason a liar, and a thug/bully. That is betrayal. She lied about Jake. That is betrayal. Those are all betrayals of trust. He trusted her, and she betrayed that trust. I agree with you though about the writers forgetting that Liz started the show as strong and brave.
Being young and confused (Elizabeth) and wanting to believe her boyfriend (lucky) who came back from the dead and felt like since he came back from the dead she was also obligated to lucky for everything he did for her after she was raped. She should have believed Jason and she ended up believing him and apologized. That’s not really a betrayal like how Sam slept with Ric his enemy and he saw it.
I have been spoiler free for over a year, but I'm not surprised. Of course that's probably more of a rumor at this point. I go by what I see and don't see on screen.

Steve and Becky are good friends. Becky said that after they filmed the NOP, she went shopping with Steve's wife and that was wierd. One problem with what you're saying. The "true passion and love" is possible if the actors are good at what they do and they are. To say kissing her is like kissing his sister is just saying Steve's not turned on, not Jason. He said that about every love interest Jason's had.
RC has been a fan of GH longer than I have. I have no doubt he knows.

You're right, it hasn't ended.
He's never said that about Sam. He and Kelly are friends. He has helped her a lot over the years. And according to him, she helps him raise his acting game. That's what you want in a co-star. That's the great thing about both Kelly and Steve, they are good friends, but that doesn't interfere with being tremendous actors. Anyway, I am clearly Team JaSam, but I also enjoy being able to have a decent conversation with a Liason fan, so thanks for that. ;-)
