I own both this and the modern leather for my 15. Both cases are so comfortable to hold vs the other big hitters (tried them all!) due to the concave sides and the quality of the material used for the sides (similar to peak design side material). The rugged case does not feel chunky in the handy because of how easy it is to grip. I use a MagSafe base on my bedside table so the normal strength magnets are ideal (Also high strength magnets increase heat buildup when charging wirelessly in my experience!) Only thing I don’t like is the bottom edge of the case which is thicker and uses hard plastic just to incorporate the lanyard points. 100% will be trying nomad cases for my next phone first.
I had a nomad case previously. I ended up buying the speck Presidio grip on a whim at Best Buy when I was there to get a charger it was half off. I love this Presidio grip. Nothing can match it on the fit around the phone. It has absolutely no give on the lip. The grip is awesome too it digs into your hand. The only thing I don’t like that speck does is they put these accent colors in the corners but that’s just a minor thing.
I have that exact case for my 15 Pro. One of my favorites for sure. Nomad buttons are absolutely unmatched. Although the action button on the 15 Pro version isn’t textured, which would be nice. Love the grooves on the sides. Never had any issues with the MagSafe strength.
Im looking for a case for my new 16 pro coming soon , this case look nice and i dont care if the camera button has cutout or buttom its just a phone. But the weak magnet was a deal breaker to bad .
I just got mine today. I love the way it feels, but the top right corner pops off with hardly any force. Can’t see that being very protective if it’s that corner that hits on a drop. Is mine defective or are they all like that?
This was one of my favorite for the 15 pro max with the Peak Design collab. One strong criticism is that the corners that make the phone wobble-free are the cause of my jeans pockets getting ruined. Just a heads up as it is a deal breaker. Besides that the case is premium all around and very comfortable
@ the corners are raised so it doesn’t wobble when you put the phone down with the screen facing up. Those raised corners create higher friction spots in your jeans pockets so little by little it will tear the inside of your pockets creating a hole. The phone slides easily in and out but at the risk of leaving holes in your pocket. I would not purchase again due to this. I recommended the synthesis it’s a thin feeling case and I could vouch for its drop protection from from multiple drops
I bought this case for my 16 pro max and returned it the rubber band protection in front of the camera button is pathetic and the slick back is awful I ended up with a supcase so far it’s superior

Do you like it to be tight with your case. I feel like sometimes it’s to hard to get them off and almost to tight. Maybe it’s better to be tighter idk
Nomad cases are a solid choice. The rugged and sport cases are good choices😁
