    Hey Brenton...quick tip with the grass clippings in the trailer...chuck down a tarp first and fold over when your done...easy removal at the tip 👍

    Thanks for the content, appreciate all the effort you put into it. Any thought to laying new primo turf rather then plugs? I’ve recently got 25m2 delivered and it’s slowly establishing itself here in Vic. It’s a beautiful grass.

      Thanks mate, Yeah cause it's so expensive and I need so much of it probably a few hundred sqm I feel it's just better to do it this way.

    Such a great detailed video. Loving the content! Excited to see the propagation expansion! I just started using the groomer on my bentgrass with the 1600 this year and know what you are dealing with on the thicker bedknife. Wish my 1000 had a groomer on it.

    Loving the content. Is there a reason why you don't compost the grass clipping?

    • @theaussielawn
      @theaussielawn  8 месяцев назад +1

      Id have a mountain of clippings if I did, I use to put them on the gardens but it just built up too much

  • @philgardiner445
    @philgardiner445 8 месяцев назад +1

    I think I was more bothered by the flies that you were! A dumb question - what is the purpose of top dressing with sand?

    • @theaussielawn
      @theaussielawn  8 месяцев назад

      The flies are hectic atm, very frustrating, Sand is the ideal topdressing medium for turf especially playing surfaces as it smooths out any irregularities and encourages the turf to grow tighter and more upright

  • @shaunray6660
    @shaunray6660 8 месяцев назад +1

    What is the actual benefit of such a light topdress?

    • @theaussielawn
      @theaussielawn  8 месяцев назад

      for turf of that HOC its actually not that light, But it will fill in surface irregularities and encourage tighter more upright turf

  • @21morgz21
    @21morgz21 8 месяцев назад +1

    Do you only use the NSW or do you have a different wetter for out the front or during the season??

    • @theaussielawn
      @theaussielawn  8 месяцев назад +1

      Ive used others in the past and although its not the strongest product on the market it works fine as a maintenance product

  • @jordanmorrissy665
    @jordanmorrissy665 8 месяцев назад +1

    hey mate what's the process of using lawn scarifying's to expand my turf, i have tried this season but failed miserably, and you mentioned plugging it out that might be my next option.

    • @theaussielawn
      @theaussielawn  8 месяцев назад

      I will be doing a video on it at some stage mate but you need to keep the material well watered during establishment

    any advice to stop the dog urine burning the crap out of my tiftuf

    • @theaussielawn
      @theaussielawn  7 месяцев назад

      Unfortunately its not a cookie cutter answer, premium dog food can help, male dogs tend to burn less than females and it depends on the soil fertility
