Regarding Code, he’s a safe bet to come in the next season pass but CC2 often uses jutsu directly from the anime and translate that into game so the UJ based off of that fight isn’t really a big thing.

They go by manga as well; there is a picture of CC2 teasing they were working on connections and Hinokami Chronicles 2 before the game was even announced by taking a picture of the staff all holding Boruto and Demon Slayer mangas. Also, Storm 4 came out before the anime finished. I believe they use the anime adaptation for color and voices mostly since they scrapped together movesets for characters who barely had screen time, and they work with Kishimoto as well.
@@biblefn they asked Bandai and Shieisa permission to adapt the manga specifically and they said yes because of their stellar work on adapting the story in the previous numbered titles, Matsuyama spoke about that in several interviews. Game developers don’t get to adapt or use the manga unless allowed to and it’s rare that it ever happens, hence why S4 is the outlier. Even sparking zero for how big and successful that game looks to be can’t use manga content and why people are campaign for it to be the case so characters like ultra ego vegeta can be DLC. Kishimoto as well as you’ve said was involved in S4 in many way but he’s had zero involvement in Connections, Bandai team even confirming that he knows about Merz and Nanashi but they aren’t his creations nor did he write the special story.
Yes they did post pictures of the Boruto manga but that can literally mean anything and nothing. They didn’t adapt the manga of demon slayer, it was an adaptation of season 1 of the anime to a near 1:1 recreation.

i dont think code will be the first character of season 2. he will definitely be in the game as a dlc, but 3 characters in a row from boruto series would not be a good move. he should probably be last season character since he is the most requested character from boruto.
my prediction is:
1 - Anko;
2 - Toneri;
3 - Shizune;
4 - chojuro ( i would also like to see a new jiraya, but is unlikely to happen);
5 - Code.
Either shinki or adult konohamaru instead of chojuro

I agree with him being a possible character for sure. The finish scenes take is a reach tho. There’s other finish scenes in the game where the characters talk to someone who isn’t in the game

A better way to predict the next chars is to look at the char select placement. After Boroshiki, there are 8 empty slots needed to even out each roster page.
Based on the theme of each roster tile, you could predict the chars

Nechi I hope you see this since you probably have some pull have you heard about the glitch where people’s controls get switched? Been playing default controls FOREVER and somehow during a casual match my shuriken and attack button got permanently switched even after I restarted the game

I need Code bro but I also need Shin to be in the game I know his move set would be so hard. I also want an updated adult Sakura cause she’s such a different fighter than she was as a teen. Her skill in hand to combat is waaaay better now. They could really cook if they went ahead and showed her some love.
And another info for your theory You have to consider urashiki as well as the 5 th Character, we have time slip costumes..so i think the fifth character Will be either hamura or urashiki.
Hopefully we get boruto karma v1 as the base and then borushiki as a Ultimate Jutsu & awakening

Please Nechi if you can read this, it is important, If we follow this theory then hamura is in the season 2, everytime You fight kaguya and performs the finish últimate on her, there is a finish scene of hagoromo involving hamura against kaguya and a hagoromos voice referring to seal kaguya along with his brother. Could that mean hamura as the 5 additional season pass 2 character?

I believe code is definitely coming honestly I think most future dlc will focus on the boruto characters. So if I was to guess we’re getting code, konohamaru, toneri, hamura, Ao . So I believe the final dlc pack will do two blue vortex characters we can imagine the uzuhiko as a ultimate already

I wouldn't put much thought into Special animations. Otherwise we'd see several other characters confirmed. I wan't Code more then anything. And I don't doubt we will get him. but Animations always reference fights. Karma Boruto's animations has references to his fight against Ao. Does that mean Ao is confirmed?
Might add Deepa confirmed because Sage Mode Mitsuki Ultimate is a shot for shot of him attack Deepa in Boruto episode 166

@@nechi_kage Koji has Voice Lines from when he kills Victor and when he fights Konohamaru. Mitsuki has a finishing screenshot and voiceline from when he fights Ku. Sarada also has voice lines and screenshots from Fighting Deepa. First Kawaki has as it all referencing his fight against Garou.
So unless there are straight up Code voice lines in the game. I'll take it with a grain of salt. We have Voice lines from Inojin, Shikadai and Konohamaru in the files.
Not arguing against it though. I wanted Code in the base rooster x.x

The real question is: how they can even think of a season 2 character pack? The game dint sold, online there're barely 100 players
Naruto Storm Connections is basically gonna be the Shinobi Striker of the Storm series.
Dont let the Steam numbers fool you, reason its definitely like that is because Storm 4 has a bigger modding community and basically has a Mod that makes the game like Storm C (which was made during its development)
CC2 have been fixing/balancing the game more than any previous title and listening to the fans. Definitely in a better position than launch TBH.
