- The cast of Dynasty visited Good Day LA on Wednesday. During the interview, Steve Edwards asked Stephanie Beacham to share her reaction to In Touch Magazine using her body and hair on the superimposed image of Bruce Jenner on their cover: www.myfoxla.com...
I love Pamela Bellwood voice, so charismatics and so calming, love her voice so much!
She was great
I loved Al Corley - his portrayal of Steven was superb
They all are endlessly adorable and I love them each! But the voice of Gordon's and Pamela's are captivating! I never got tired of listening Adam. Most relaxing voice on television. I could listen to him reading tales all day.
Wow Pamela Bellwood still looks great even after all these years. So does StephanieBeecham.
Gary Dunn They certainly do, I confused Stephanie Beacham with Kelly Bishop of Gilmore Girls at first sight...
Kind of shocking to see Gordon (Adam) looking his 70 years. He was actually much older than the character he played. He looked good enough to pull off 26 when he was 37.
He looks great!
Yes, he often talks about how when he was cast, Joan Collins said he was much too old to play her son.
He still looks great for his age i love his voice also .
Stephanie Beacham one of the most beautiful women in the world. She still looks amazing and what a tremendous actress!
and she is a real woman...not a wannabe...
Sable was a lot of fun to watch.
Stephanie Beacham is remarkable. I remembered her when she played a few episods only In the sixth season of the "Dynasty". The scene in the bathroom with her was very sexual. Then we see her in the ninth season and we have an impression that she always had been. Pamela Bellwood is a great dramatic actress i respect her very much! But without Joan Collins, my dear ladies and gentlemen, there is no "Dynasty"!!!
I don't know if anyone agrees with me I like Gordon Thompson he seems good fun. He reminds of Robert wagner, if that's a fair thing to say.
Those long lost son plots are often very badly handled, but with Gordon Thomson is was perfect.
Story was credible, very well written and Gordon was terrific as Adam. One of the best storyline of the show.
Stephanie as Sable was the heart of The Colbys.
Wow, they all look absolutely wonderful. So nice to see they are looking and apparently doing well. It was particularly nice to see Al Corley. No offense to Jack Coleman, but I never cared for his version of Steven. Al Corley had this wonderful earnestness and vulnerability about him that was totally lacking after Jack took over the role.
Gordon Thompson nails it: before Joan Collins Dynasty was literally nothing. Joan landed and she was electrifying. Interesting how the other cast members don't agree with Gordon. They are a little frozen and then move the conversation along.
gazetc True
@@peregrino9154 Yes, it was grittier the first year, thanks in part to having actors like Bo Hopkins and Dale Robertson on the show. I preferred it to the glammed up campy era that followed, although seasons 2 and 9 were still pretty good.
bfsgman it was originally supposed to be about a tycoon and his family in the oil business but when that wasn’t doing well, Joan was brought in to shame things up.
I don’t think the actors disagree, but you can’t deny, yes, there are shades of Dallas in the creation of Dynasty, however… there was enough talent to attract a viewership, and for producers to believe it needed something extra to make it work even better. Without Alexis, Crystal was torn between two men. And her getting along with Fallon was inevitable, so you needed a sworn enemy, who brought out Crystal’s toughness. There was more for Jeff and Claudia to do, there was also the inclusion of Heather in order to gain a teenage audience and interest in the program. The way enjoyed the first season, I think the second season is the best. Seasons, three and four are good. Season five with the Moldavian massacre that’s where it begins to let us down story wise. And that’s a shame because there were so many things they could have done to reinvigorate the program.
And as Gordon rightly said, talking about Joan, "She became the star she always wanted to be".
These hosts are AWFUL. PERIOD.
Stephanie Beacham does look amazing!
Stephanie just looks the same, she is beautiful.
haha its 2017 and im getting into the original show from the 80s it really is so much fun, its so melodramatic and hilarious
“Whoa-O-O-O-O-OH! Square Rooms! Whoa-O-O-O-OH! Square Rooms! They Don’t Listen, But They Don’t Care, If A Man is in Dispair!”
Stephanie Beacham and Pamela Bellwood still look great.
So, Adam (Gordon Thompson) came in tracksuit and sneakers to a show like this? What was he thinking ?
I was thinking the same. Look at everyone's else. And I am one who says be yourself but dam lol but he was right about the show being a hit once joan collins joined
Pamela is very sweet, she reminds me of one of my sisters
Whacko? Whacko is your old boss Roger Ailes. The characters Claudia suffered from emotional distress.
What the hell is Gordon Thompson wearing? He looks a hot mess for daytime or primetime or ANY time. Where's his publicist? He looks like he just rolled in off the street after running some damn errands. Great to see these actors again though.
you're too right! I have better sense of style wear without the wealth he has!
I'm glad someone said it. I was thinking the same thing.
You know Alexis would have something to say about it!
I love Gordon Thomson. I always hope I bump into it in his hometown of Toronto.
I thought he was from Ottawa.
n the bathhouse.
Enjoyed Pamela Bellwood's take on her character's perception of reality. Sounds so Meisner, which she trained on
Where is Ms.Dominique Deveroux?
Yeah and what about Ms Collins huh.
Diahann Carroll is still dead.
Stephanie Beacham as Sable was a fantastic character, she overcame even the great Alexis. I sincerely think Beacham could have comfortably filled the void had both Collins and Evans left the show permanently. Sable would definitely have become Blake's next wife!
Sable was too much of an Alexis wannabe. Her character was filler.
I never saw Sable as a carbon copy of Alexis. Alexis rarely had any tender moments, even with her children. She was a straight up bitch 100%. Sable was more nuanced. She could be ruthless and bitchy at times, but you could also see that she was very loving and protective of her children, and she kept loving Jason even after her divorced her for her sister. I think she was someone who could love deeply, and Alexis was just cold to the bone.
I find it interesting that Sable's character was probably not intended to be much of a character on the show, based on the billing that put her after Katherine Ross and Emma Samms, and out of the star spot given to Barbara Stanwyck. My hunch is that she was intended to be someone who you were supposed to hate and she'd be ousted quickly for Frankie, but the fans clearly loved her and they boosted her role on the show.
@@graphiquejack Sable was far better written and lush character than Alexis. Also, Beacham is a far superior actress than either Evans or even Collins, so you could tell the writers love writing for her.
@@graphiquejack Stephanie Beacham has said that she was only supposed to be on the first season. Then, Frankie would marry Jason, but Sable became the break out character of the show
What the hell ! Gordon Thomson came up on tv with
sweat pants and dirty sport shoes ! From the bed to the tv sofa 🤔🤔
seems like the reporters have a little dynasty rift between them, which i do not turn in to see. some reporters believe that they are a star- but they are not. ask questions and shut up. we do not want to see/ hear you act like you are star too. you are not.
Steven, Claudia, Adam & Sable
Beautiful people!!!!❤❤❤❤
Al Corley, Pam Bellwood, GordonThomson and Stephanie Beacham, where's everyone else?
1:28 "You'll should do a show together!" I'll watch the show too if they did too!
the love i have both series is eternal❤❤❤
Stephanie Beecham looks great, but 'Claudia's looks have actually improved with age.
Pamela looks Great.
Could listen to Pamela Bellwood talk and relate her experiences all day
Hysterical photo-shopping
En väldigt bra intervju tycker jag också väldigt bra gjort ♥️♥️🍬🍬🌷🌷🍇🍇🍭🍭
What disappoints me most about these retrospective shows, they always focus on the silly physical "cat fights" between Joan and Krystle. The show was so much more than that. The dialogue was excellent, storylines compelling, the sets & costumes were fantastic with no expense spared
Stephanie Beacham is a far better actor than Joan Collins, and far more graceful and humble than she ever will be
I watched Stephanie in a series called Tenko, set in a Japanese POW camp during WWII a few years ago on cable TV, it was made in the 80s by the BBC...It is a brilliant series
During season 9, the final season of Dynasty she blew JC out of the water
It's ironic that I couldn't stand Stephanie in Bad Girls...I just didn't like her character at all
There is only few of them, and you call this reunion :-)
they had actually a few days earlier a big reunion with 11 of the cast members incl. Joan Collins, John James - it was fun to meet em... and Gordon Thomson was so nice. They have filmed that day day an interview which was added on THE COLBYS dvd.
they also wanted Sophia Loren for Alexis but she turned it down
+bysouthernhands ...i think linda evans was the only one that remained part of the original pilot(main character)......original george peppard started out in the blake carrington role but george was very arrogant & demanding and the creators became worried that if his ego is this much of a problem in a pilot what will it morph into if/when the show becomes a hit.....they shared their concerns with aaron spelling who then reached out to john F.....when the show struggled in the ratings.....they discussed how to stir things up.....several names were thrown around to play blakes x-wife.....sophia,liz were the original names....both were divas and wanted way too much money.....enter divine intervention n one of the creators happen to see joan collins in a movie called the bitch n the rest is history......after the xpiration of her original contract joan collins(the end of season 5) hit the producers up for a huge raise and refused to show up to set until she got it(which is why she was not in the s6 premier).....by seasonn 9 joan was written out of 9 episodes because of budget cuts......it is rumored that if there was a season 10 diane carroll was coming back n joan carrol was not interested in returning(which is total bullshit.....the truth joans relationship with the producers totally deteriorated when she refused to appear on the colby's and with the addition of sable colby they were phasing joan out....it also did not help that john forsythe could not stand her...
So much drama in real life as it is in tv.
bysouthernhands her biggest regret
Al Corley is the most beautiful male figure of the 80s 🤍
What the hell is Gordon Thompson wearing?
Clothes.
@@lindakristinekjlibraten757 I believe e had an injury or operation so had to wear loose fitting clothing
this reminds me of the movie 'Wait Until Dark', it has a blind woman (character) that had so much to say, but the other lady was doing most of the work, well what was the missing rule?
Audrey Hepburn asked me to ask you what in the world you are talking about.
Pamela Bellwood ❤
The ones that were not too interesting in the show
Sable.
Al Corley is straight and played a gay character. Gordon Thompson is gay and played a straight character. I just find it weird that the majority of gay roles in cinema, both film and tv, are played by heterosexual men. Dynasty was fine soap opera drama, at least for the first five seasons. After that, the writers seem to have reached a plateau in believable story lines, and hence the series decline amongst its core audience. I was a huge Dallas and Dynasty fan, but if I recall I lost interest in Dynasty and did not watch the last two seasons.
Rock Hudson was also gay and he played straight on Dynasty.
ich Liebe es:-)
Bisexual my a$$! Steven was absolutely gay since ep 1. The fact you still have to water him down as bisexual shows why you left the show, which it was a very dumb decission btw, same for Pamela Sue Martin.
Corley has said many times he quit due to the direction of the character and stormed off and quit yet here he makes it sound amicable. Wonder what really happened?
He was fired. He was bad mouthing the show, complaining about his character and they let him go. In retrospect, they all say it was mutual. Who knows? Maybe he would have stayed.
And pamela sue martin
It's strange for such rich characters, they always barged into each others' homes and rooms to have it out with their rivals. Real dignified manners, ha ha.
he left to play theatre yeah right. he's being too kind. he hated Steven's fluctuating sexuality, so just say it.

🇵🇹👍🏻💚❤️🇬🇧🇺🇸
Дякую!!!
Gordon Thomson, he was always so pompous and pretentious... A good actor, though.
7:23 Nothing to do with genetics it is all botox, facelifts. They look like real life wax-works.
In so many ways those string of shows- Dallas, Knots Landing, Dynasty, Falcon Crest, The Carringtons, etc. They were simply daytime soap operas brought to prime time. Women took to them very well, but I don't think straight men really found them that fascinating.
Stephanie Beecham doesn't belong there. She was an addition to the cast when Dynasty was ebbing.
But like jc, once she came on she was great and toe to toe with joan. Aldo she was spin off the colbys. Many love and remember her than the many years of the other actors combined
Season 9 was all the better for having Stephanie in it. Of course she belongs there.
wow pamela belwood looks almost the same! stephanie looks all made up
They are not Dynasty they were in the Colby's. I didn't like The Colby's. I liked Falcon Crest.
Only Sable was in The Colbys for the 2 seasons it last (Adam just made a guest appearance) and she joined Dynasty for the 9th and last season.
I was just thinking this aint much of a dynasty reunion really i mean cmon
I have to admit that Dallas was my favourite show, with Dynasty a close second.
ESTHER ,MINELLI I loved dynasty not the colbys. Colbys didn't have the same magic as dynasty. Dynasty had that great ensemble cast and of course, Joan and Linda. I did love Falcon crest though too and really got into it. It had great characters. I was never into Dallas for some reason. I just couldn't care less about the Dallas charcaters despite the JR Ewing "phenomenon" at the time. I don't remember watching dynasty before Joan? I can't remember what it was like. To me, Dynasty and Joan were synonymous. Without her Dynasty wouldn't have survived.
@@stmichl9433 Interesting.. I watched Dallas, Dynasty, The Colby's and Falcon Crest as a child. Having rewatched them all as an adult, I would say that the Colby's was actually a far superior written series than Dynasty. Falcon Crest had the best actors though and Dallas was the juggernaut that started it all (although I lost interest after Pam blew up) Emma Sams was a terrible replacement for Pamela Sue Martin, which I believe is why people weren't as drawn to The Colby's.... fine actress but too sweet for the role.
