- The Attack on Titan OST " YouSeeBIGGIRL " just got a lot sadder by me singing it as an acoustic version! I also included the german and translated english lyrics
This is probably the only Attack on Titan OST i can sing with ease (only this version tho lol). I teared up several times while singing this, eventhough the German lyrics aren´t necessarily THAT sad but it's just something about the melody that hits somewhere deep within LOL anyway! hope you enjoyed this small cover!!

Crazy how when sang by a native speaker, it feels like a totally different song, each word and letter really gets the right intonation and is really valued, Japanese people probably struggle with the pronunciation of German . They struggle pretty hard with their English too, but the fact that they're tremendous singers makes up for it. I've also heard English speakers cover Zero Eclipse, for example, and slip up on the same enunciation as the Japanese singer. I think it was "worlds", which is always a struggle. Apple Seed is really hard to make out with the Japanese singers. Love listening to them though.

@@PeacefulChaos2 They needed someone with a very powerful voice to sing this song. Eliana blew it out of the park. Powerful vocals. But this version is also very good. It has a different tone and brings up different emotions.

It's not about the pronunciation, but the feeling of the song is completely different, there's much more sadness and reluctancy than anger. It's haunting. So good. To be honest, a lot of germans probably don´t even know the song is sung in German because the pronunciation of the singer is a bit different to how we talk! But (I can only speak for myself here) I was very proud that they chose German as a language to sing in!
The show is actually very popular amongst germans. I remember the server of our streaming service crashing once season 4 came out because way too many people wanted to stream it👀

to be fair, unless you look up the lyrics, you wont even recognize that so many aot songs are in german.
not saying the singer did a bad job, but the pronounciation is really off at times.
for songs like "vogel im käfig" its kinda obvious since the name is already german (bird in a cage) but for some songs its harder to make out what language they are supposed to be :D
@@TakeasRealm yeah the damned Japanese are too proud of their own culture to even try to learn another language , still they have done a pretty nice job regardless
@@Barlowade i wouldnt say it loke that lol, its just that german is a pretty hard language and pretty unique in most of its phonetics, the singer sure did try her best and as we can see she improved over time and in season 4 it sounds like she actually took german lessons and talked to people in german just to sing the song

I'm so late to this, just wanted to say that your cover is beautiful and it evoked a lot of powerful emotions within me, like sorrow and nostalgia for something I haven't really lost. It brings a different perspective to the original song, which mostly gave me hype haha.

I've been coming back to this for months, and I must say that it gets me every time. It's hard-hitting, but it manages to calm me down and relax me every time I listen. Your cover reminds me very much of the piece "End of battles" from the Shadow of The Colossus OST. It's a wonderful piece, haunting, but peaceful and beautiful, like a calm lake.

Holy crap it's kind of amazing how much native vocals add to the song despite the original song being sung by a very good vocalist. I wish they had collaborated with a german singer for these OSTs it would have probably added a quite a bit to what is already an amazing soundtrack.

what I love about this version is in comparison to the original. with the Original, you get a scale of epic righteous anger seeking justice and this one is like protraying the solemn aftermath.
say if the previous episode had the original showing the epic scale of battle, this version would play at the end of the next episode of the one who sought justice, partially regretting the actions they had to take previously.

Über einen Monat ist AOT jetzt vorbei, ich habs immer noch nicht verarbeitet.
Ich würde die Serie zu gerne von vorne anfangen aber jedes mal wenn ich daran denke rutsche ich weiter in diese Emotionale Falle die Isayama uns dort gelegt hat.
Ich danke ihm so sehr für dieses Wunderschöne Kunstwerk das er uns schenkte, er ist der Grund warum ich mir nachts um halb 1 dieses wunderschöne Cover zum 100sten mal anhören kann und mich weiter in das Leid fiktiver Charaktere reinsteigern kann.
Ich glaub ich muss mal raus Gras anfassen.
I was just practicing German and couldn't find any decent song to listen. Then the idea of listening AoT soundtracks came to me, when listened them with the German lyrics I realized that the pronounciations were way too off. But im here thanks to youtube algorithm, listening it from your kind voice, having the meanings of your words fill me up. Just learned that German can be kind 😅

Oh man... This is really freaking good, damn!
Reiner started off as my favourite character, had me legitimately surprised during Season 2's reveal, then turned him back around into my favourite character again. Just continues to be one of the most layered and complex characters in the entire show. You gotta love how Attack On Titan doesn't take sides in the conflict here; they made a world where there's both good and evil, and the lines get skewed again and again.

Ohh sht, completely unrelated to AoT, but I just realized what the word Schickal translates to in English (if you are a fellow captain, you should know what I mean), and I now know another meaning of Kiana "defying her fate" while fighting against the organization called Schicksal from Honkai Impact 3rd.
Anyway with that off my chest, amazing cover! It's always great to hear the actual pronunciation of the lyrics of these songs, not that the originals are bad, it's just nice to hear the covers done by native speakers.
