I took my daughter to Disneyland at 2 and she loved it. She’ll be 4 in Oct and she still talks about it. There was still tons for her to do and I can’t wait to take her again.

My daughter turns 3 in two weeks and watching this just made me feel better to know that I'm not the only who feels this way. Even though it might feel trivial in comparison, celebrating my daughter's birthday is one of the things I most look forward to so I'm also a little sad that we won't have the party I've been planning for the last several months. She was also looking forward to her birthday this year for the first time ever, and it was sad to disappoint her. At least we'll have a mini celebration for her with cake and a balloon arch.

I️ own a dessert business making wedding cakes and dessert bar items for a living and let me tell you Raven...your filling, leveling and crumb coat skills wete great for your first-ish time! Seriously! The cake pops did look a little too moist but chilling them was the right idea. Next time, add small amounts of frosting at a time. And put the cake in a food processor to get the crumbs more smaller so the balls roll smoother. Your final dough should feel/look like play doh. Squish it between your hands to combine before you roll. But listen I do this nearly everyday (pre- current circumstances) ...and you did great!!!!
Disneyland can still be memorable...especially with pics/vids, lol!
I felt Ziya’s pain when she said she wanted more people at her party. I forget how smart she is because she’s so young, but clearly she understands how birthday’s work. I can’t wait til part 2! 💕💕💕

I took my daughter to Disney for her 5th Birthday she’ll be 8 in 4 months and still remembers and talks as bout it! ☺️💛 I went when I was 7 I’m 24 now.. I still remember moments and going back as an adult triggered even more memories.
OMG! I started crying when Ziya agreed to a small party. She is so sweet. As a mom to a 3-year-old too, explaining the current situation to them is heartbreaking. You do a great job with her, Raven and Grammy.
At this point, everyone deserves to feel how they feel about the changes that have unfortunately affected their lives, big or small. Your life is your life, and you have a right to feel how you feel, sis! Keep doing the spectacular things you do! Trust, our #firstworldproblems are real too - people forget that.

I think you should be allowed to feel how you feel. Everyone’s feelings are relevant and yes people are going through hardship but this is your only child’s birthday. It’s super understandable.
I think she’ll remember, you’ll be surprised how much a kid can remember.
I remembered going to Six Flags Great America at age 4 and going to the Auto Show at 5 and even traveling to Alabama at 3.

She should continue to keep them short for a good while. It will give her natural nails some time to be free of all those chemicals. And, it looks a whole lot better.
My daughter is 9 and she still talks about her basic sleepover she had when she was 4 , mind you she’s had some pretty cool parties lol babies just love to be entertained. If your excited she will feed of your energy. You are amazing and she’s so appreciative. Don’t feel bad.
A 3/4 year old would definitely remember a trip that is aligned with their favorite things and passions. I teach preschool and have students that VIVIDLY remember every detail of going to Disney World within the last year or so!

Ziya would love disney at her age. My daughter was 4 last year when we went and she was able to ride pretty much every ride at every park and had a blast.
My heart broke when she said she needs more people at her party 😩 you can tell she was a little upset but she handled it well. I feel so badly for the kids during this quarantine. My 3 year old asks me everyday to go to the park and once I finally explained to her that it would be a while before we can go again she said “okay” In the saddest voice and then start tearing up. 😩

My husband and I took our 2 yr old to Disney and she turned 3 during the trip. That was 7 months ago and she still remembers it! She gets so excited every time a Disney commercial comes on. She remembers different rides we went on and characters. Even staying at the resort. So glad we were able to go before the lockdown/quarantine.
In Italy we have been almost a month and a half in quarantin e... Be strong! I heard in America things are getting bad, worse than in Italy, very quickly, be careful! Hope thing will be better in no time... Happy to see you were able to do a little party for Ziya, she’s such a smart girl!
