    Fantastic video. One thing they forgot to mention is that any towels you use for buffing off ceramic should be thrown away. It’s almost like having a thin layer of glass in your towel

    Just did this. First layer went on like butter. Waited 12 hours. Second coat was much tougher to wipe off and I’m not sure why based on my experience with ceramics, but the finish looks insanely good. I might recommend just one coat of carbon force.

    I just used this product on my 2021 Mustang EcoBoost HPP, and it turned out amazing. There are also some great videos on how to correct any mistakes like overlap or high spots. Just wanted to say though this I'm very happy with the Ceramic Coat, and I plan on buying more of it and applying it to more cars.

    Love these guys and their videos & products! My question is, I've seen other Chemical Guys videos on ceramic coatings where it says you should strip off all waxes and coatings before applying a ceramic coating because it bonds better to the paint instead of to an existing wax or glaze. In this video I see there're polishing just before applying the ceramic coating. Anyone have any other information on this? Thanks

      You can polish the headlights too. I recommend polishing the headlight and glass and added a ceramic coat. Windshield especially

    I am looking forward to doing this to my truck in the summer and was wondering if you have any videos on how to correct a mistake with the ceramic coating like missing a spot when removing and finding it after several hours or days etc....Thanks, I love all your products and videos.

    Can you show how to polish SUV/Trucks with ridges on the roof with a polisher? Smooth surfaces seem easy enough but not sure how to get in between those ridges.

      @David Harden you can get a smaller backing plate for your polisher. If your really needing to get in between even tighter areas. You can use a drill with a polisher attachment that has a 3” backing combination pad.

      Hi Xavier! It would be best to use a surface prep spray such as Wipe Out to remove oils and residue before applying ceramic.

      Hey! Carbon Force will spread very thin to cover a large surface area. Reapply as necessary for even coverage.

    If your just applying a new coat of wax from about a year ago on my daily driver, is it a good idea to use Wipeout before an annual coat of wax and ceramic spray?

    I have a Dodge Hellcat with a matte finish hood, matte finish top and matte finish deck lid. Can the B36, B38 and carbon force be applied on that type of finish?

      Hey Jeffrey! Matte is very sensitive so only use Meticulous Matte Auto Wash and/or Meticulous Matte Spray Sealant to prevent staining.

    I’m getting ready to apply carbon force in my SUV. It is a pearl white and white has very minimum scratches; I was planning on using VSS as a one step polish. Do you recommend that or just go with the two steps you used in this video?
    Also, is only one orange pad enough to do a full car or should I get a few?

      Hi Kevin! For best results, apply ceramic to a bare surface and then it can be layered with your favorite glaze, sealant, and/or wax.

    My car is black and it a 2021. I have the 8 piece polish and wak kit. Kit comes with the vss polisher. Is that too aggressive of a polisher??. What do you recommend if not this??.
