I don't think the 1993 movie by Steven Spielberg needs any introduction! I have received many requests for an arrangement of the main theme by John Williams, originally played by Itzhak Perlman. Here is my take on this beautiful piece of music and - for the first time - some very basic VFX to try and match the mood of the movie. Hope you'll like it! The next cover? It'll be a fun, fast song! @@benjamincawley2589 Musicnotes and John Williams haven't agreed on licensing and publishing of his music scores. There's nothing I can do at the moment. Fingers crossed!

This is one of my favorites. You made a 70 year old veteran cry! I lost my grandparents to the holocaust. Well done my friend! I am so jealous of your talent. Makes me wish now I didn’t whine so much and make my mom let me give up lessons 60 years ago. You touched my heart. Much respect and love.
I am going to print your comment and put it up on my wall at my music studio so that my students can see it. Some of them don’t practice or whine to much about learning. 60 years later they’ll realise what they’ve missed on 😞

What are you waiting for? I had dreams and desire playing piano since childhood but many things got in the way. Four years ago, at 70, I took up lessons and playing well. I don't have talent, but determination.

When Spielberg asked John Williams to write the score for Schindler’s List he showed him an early cut of the movie. Williams stood up and walked out of the screening room. He came back in a few minutes later crying and said “you need someone better than me to write music for this.” And Spielberg said “I know, but everyone better than you is dead.”

Good nod to the film with what you did with the colour on this one. Remember seeing this when it first came out and there were about 10 of us that went to see it together. Think there was only 1 person that came out of the cinema not crying. Nicely played.

Possibly my favourite of all piano covers of this piece because it is the one that is closest to the sound of the reprise at the end of the soundtrack, and it isn't massively overpowering like some of the others I've heard are.
