Could be related who knows. Just like alot of people (who are not in COGIC) don't know Gospel singers Bill Moss and his brother J Moss are first cousins to The Clark Sisters.
The gospel show was taped in Chicago, it was the number one gospel show in the midwest throughout the 1980's. The top gospel artists during this time period appeared on "Saturday Nite Sing". Thank you for posting these goldmine shows.
Leslie has so much range. She sings soprano/ alto when she leads a song but sings tenor when she backgrounds. So when I saw this I was like I thought Lashun sang this and she did on the album U Know. They sound so much alike.
It was Shun on the Album. This was before they recorded it and "Jesus Loves Me'. When they recorded them, Shun got "Praise HIm" and Duranice got "Jesus Loves Me"
I never knew about this show. I grew up in Ohio. I wonder why it was not picked up in any Ohio markets back then. They said it was recorded on Chicago. I love it!
5 of them are missing 🤭🥰❤️💚💜💛💙l love my Sistas but Shun introduced me to them so l SHOUT her out🥰👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 bless her and the oldest Sista's souls🙏🏽😘and blessings to the whole family 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽😉
That was like 30 plus years ago. They were 10 sisters during that time singing together. It was only 4 of them singing here. What happened to the rest of them?
@@ebouhoward8287 thanks, yeah I see that now I think I assumed that was her since she’s one of the older sisters but 7 years laters and a bunch of Pace family videos later I can totally tell who is who now! 😃 Leslie did sang that!
@@reggiemitchell5198 She was only in the episode when they wore the orange ensemble. She was able to go but on this particular episode she was at school. And Melonda was there for Duranice to deliver DeMarcus
LaShun was really something special. Her voice was perfect! I’m grateful she shared her gift with the world.
Leslie owned Praise Him! I can tell by her movements. She knows how to drive a song...for real.
LaShun is such a powerful soprano!
Just like the Clark Sisters, any number of Paces and any combination of Paces still produces the Pace sound.
I was gonna say Shun is the Karen of the group, and the sister who sung "praise him" is like the Dorinda of the group..
Bryun Gray I agree. Except I would say the Paces have TWO Dorindas because June is another one...LOL.
Duranice Would Be The Dorinda😊
Kobe Caldwell I think Duranice is the Twinkie of the group!!! All them girls get they chops from her!!! :-)
True, But I Said She's Dorinda Because Of Her Strong Ministry
Shun's soprano is the TRUTH...She can BELT way above where most sopranos can use only head tones...wow.
Coko from Swv can as well
@@betrapvideos I wonder if they could be related. They do share the last name Gamble which is their mother's maiden name.

Love you shun you will never be forgotten
So itty bitty June is a year older than LaShun ♥️
Phyllis, Leslie, June and LaShun
puremusicluveer looks like Djuaii on drums?
puremusicluveer *dejuaii*
@@darealweezyfbaby oh I didn’t realize that was her
Where was duranice?
@@sugamama2jackson49 She was pregnant with DeMarcus at that time
Look at Leslie, I couldn't make her out on this one. Shun is so Pretty🥰🥰🥰🥰. Play them drums DeJuaii
Wow I never knew that was Dejuaii
June’s soprano on Jesus loves me here is cold!!!!
She should’ve jumped on the actual soprano note ❗️but they are all phenomenal

There all sopranos
@@UncleDuTheWatchman no actually they sing those songs on there first album and re-recorded it for the U-know album
They've come a long way
I used to watch "Saturday Night Sing" every week on DC's Howard University channel 32 WHMM at the time (now WHUT) and enjoyed it highly!
Shun & Leslies Sopranos🙌🏾
They remind me of the Clark Sisters.

I wish the first song was longer lol I kept rewinding it

I agree with you this video should have 5000 views and about 700 comments at least.
You better testify Shun!
@TheBlsing... I subscribed to your channel. I’m enjoying your classics.
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Nobody like lashun Pace in her PRIME
I can tell duranice trained leslie
I always thought of Leslie as Lashun's protegé. I can just see how close they are in the videos.
Leslie said it on a video!
@@deaundreeturner3688 but I miss Duranice though powerful singer
Yes Leslie will take over where Duranice left off (Rest in Eternal Paradise)
When Leslie rebuked Tamar, she said she learned how to sing and how to work the crowd from Duranice.
Who’s on drums? ...one of them sisters

HOLD UP IS THAT DURANICE ON THE DRUMS !!!!!!!
DEX P looks like Djuaii
Duranice was on paternity leave. Shun tells it, "my baby is 4 months and we are waiting for her to drop hers anytime."
How much were they paid on average for a booking?
I can't hear the video...I wish I could!!
no its leslie
That must have been Melonda leading "Praise Him" she did an awesome job!
That was Leslie. Melonda, Duranice, Lydia, nor Latrice wasn't there for this performance.

Anybody know who sings the first two songs they sung? Magnify & The Lord & Glory The Lord!
Not sure who sings Magnify Him but Glorify The Lord is by The Richard Smallwood Singers
Is this first song On Apple Music
Who playing the drums?
What year was this?
I looked like it was 1982
I can't get past the first song
Where was Latrice?
I believe she was too young, their mother wanted them to graduate highschool before joining
She had school and so did Lydia
