Wow, even at 4 years he didn't sound like the typical "kid fumbling around on the keys". This guy Cory is a perfect example of how music fill you with happiness. And such a modest and beautiful person.
The interviewer is really good, it seems like it could be awkward, standing in front of him and what not, but he is enjoying it and interested, like they are friends.
When he started playing 'Old Rugged Cross', a huge smile appeared on my face. It's just beautiful. The fact that he mentions Billy Preston as one of his favourite organists, makes me having even more respect for Cory Henry.
Cory Henry is truly a inspiration 2 all musician young & old from humble beginnings 2 worldwide fame, he's one of the most SOULFUL organist you will ever hear GOD Bless
If I ever meet Corey I will check if he is hungry or thirsty or needs anything at all. We have to take care of special human beings like this kid. His playing is divine and he comes across as such a beautiful person.
Danke, Melchior for sharing this priceless interview. Memories are made of these. Who knows one day you will interview his Mom, then let me know. Cheers!
A Most Wonderful Young Man! I had run across information about him on the internet from years before. I have been hooked ever since! The video showed him sitting at the organ at about maybe 5 years old.I believe his mother was standing in the background! Since then, I believe I read somewhere that both his mother and father are passed away! And I also read that he was raised by his grandmother. After trying to keep up with his progress, I always hoped to meet him! So, after all those years, I read that he would be in Chicago the very next day performing at Millineum Park! OMG! I arrived there and there must have been thousands of people cheering. White People, Black People, Everybody was there all vibing off the sound from Cory Henry and his band and singers! They brought a cleansing and a deeply moving experience that seemed to envelope and embrace everyone in ear shot. I am requesting that everyone in the world to please support this young man and his band. It will do your whole heart and soul good! There us something ultra divine and other worldly about how his music affects a crowd of people! I suspect it has a lot to do with his mother and father and his up bringing. I sensed it so strong as a certain feeling surrounded that place, that was watchful, and peacefully transcending from some place, through him to the crowd. Words cannot explain what we all saw and felt. I have never seen do many young people mingling in a crowd of older people. Young, Old, everybody on one accord! Chicago and the world truly needs to support Cory Henry and his band! What a healing event! We cannot wait to see them again. I think I read they were to leave Chicago and concertize in Sweden that following week!
You are such a gift, I am grateful for your contributions there is one other besides Billy Preston that had such a anointing, the late great Dr. Curtis R Lewis. God bless you.
That's an interview not what they do on Hard Talk trying to look tough and just asking negative questions not wanting to know about the person they're interviewing
Nesses videos assim vocês poderiam legendar pra pessoas que não entendem inglês. Sou do Brasil e gostaria de saber o que ele diz These videos so you could captioning for people who do not understand English. I'm from Brazil and I wonder what it says ( Google Translator)

I feel bad for the drummer though, interviewer is straight cutting him off giving him the back. Lol he's looking at him like: Seriously ? !

Man! Melchior was ready to repent of his heavy drinking when Cory was showing him that old time gospel piece.
it's incredible how this person does have a favourite organist Billy Preston and now he has become our favourite and probably better than him
The interviewer really resembles Bach
Beethoven
It never occurred to me that the organist was playing the Emotional setting of the church.
damn he better at keys than me at four years old HAH
At 4 he was great, that's no fumble
where's the 2nd part?
Where's the rest?

Lucky us. There is a Hammond in our church...
Tokosss
"And here we have a clip of you at 4 years old" - what is this fucking Nardwuar?
The Hammond wouldn’t be what it is today without the invention of Donald James Leslie. Just sayin...
Taugé The Leslie
Play The piano lesson Cory HERNY so paly 🎹 panio Drum
"tulpen uit Amsterdam" iemand? nee? ja toch!
Cor Steijn
Ummm why is he standing over hem like that? stand back and let hem play!
Because it's an interview
you've never seen an interview conducted where the interviewee is sat with their instrument handy....?
This looks weird.... colonisation vibes... Sit down man.
