Lack of sleep catches up to you two days later. No matter your age 👍🏻. Also, I handle not finishing my plate by thinking about the fact that the cost of the meal could cover two meals instead of one. Always makes me happy to save half of my meal

I 100% struggle with not wasting food!! I don’t know how helpful this is but I give my leftovers that I know I won’t eat to family members. Either my husband or my step dad are happy to take my extras and it helps me significantly to not over eat!

Hey Keegan! Don't give up on your orange chicken dreams! If you want to turn a bunch of any liquid into a thick velvety sauce quickly (without boiling it down super long), try adding a cornstarch slurry. Mix 1 tsp corn starch with 1 tsp water in a cup, then pour that mixture into your soon-to-be sauce. Stir and cook it for a minute or two and it should be thick and bubbly. If you want it thicker, add more of the same slurry and cook a couple more minutes. Cheers and happy cooking!

A thought about the laundry detergent… if there’s a package free sustainable shop near you, you can just buy the exact amount you need and zero waste !!! Perfect for things like this or even spices you won’t use a large quantity of. Something I rarely think about myself but need to include more regularly

I enjoy your cooking. I've cooked homemade Sushi, too and I felt it took up some time to make. It was good but I prefer going to the restaurant instead. Have you tried an All You Can Eat Sushi?

Btw your brain is still developing… so you’re not technically an adult until 25 when the human brain is fully developed. And then there are people like myself that still haven’t completely figured out the whole adulting thing. I’ll be 45 on Sunday and I swear even on my 40th birthday I was wondering when I would feel like a “real” adult. Take your time and enjoy the moments, there’s really no reason to rush. With every year that passes you gain insight, but you also gain more responsibilities, I guess that’s just to give us balance and keep us on our toes.😊

Not sure about Arizona laws, however, CBD salve is absolutely amazing for headaches. I get bad migraines and I can rub it on my temples, forehead and/or neck and it completely takes it away.
Just a tip: don't use silverware on a non-stick pot. Wood or silicone will not scratch it.

My 21st birthday is on March 29th, my husband has to leave this week for training so we celebrated it on Saturday. He and his friends brought me to my favorite restaurant and to the beach and got me a cake aftrer, nothing quite went right but I was still really flattered they wanted to celebrate with me and it was honestly still the best bday I've had in years (I have a really bad track record lol)
I have the same fears about feeling alone the actual day of but hopefully my friend will be down to hang out a little haha

Hello! I have a cool idea for a cooking challenge! There is a popular game "blind, deaf, mute" on RUclips and tiktok. The essence of the game is that three participants are taken, of which one cannot see (he is blindfolded), the second cannot hear (ear plugs and headphones are put on him), and the third cannot speak (usually his mouth is taped), and that’s it. They must somehow cooperate and perform certain tasks.
I’ve seen people do they but I’ve read comments that some people find it insensitive and i don’t ever want to offend anyone :/

Not finishing your plate when you already feel full is something you kinda have to learn to be kind to yourself about, and practice even when it feels bad still.
Repeating comforting mantras to me personally helps. After being told "there's starving children in africa!!1!!!" your whole life creates a lot of guilt you have to unlearn, you need to come up with new things to tell yourself to give yourself grace.
"It's better for my body to stop now, finishing this plate after being full is just hurting my body which isn't better."
"The starving children in Africa will never see this food on my plate, having prepared too much for myself is not taking away from them and whether or not I finish eating affects them in no way."
"Me being lucky and privileged enough to be able to eat until I'm full is not an insult or reason to feel guilty for those who don't, it doesn't make me less grateful for what I have if I don't finish my plate when I'm full."
"Food is waste product in the end anyways, it's going in the trash or down the toilet and currently the trash will be healthier for me so as to not overeat."
"I am in a place where food is not a scarcity, i do not have to be afraid of running out of food if I do not finish my plate or made a little too much food for myself."
There are plenty of reasons to NOT finish your plate, all the guilty reasons you come up with to finish it are not reasonable. Reminding yourself of this and honoring your body by stopping eating when you feel full is the best for yourself, you just need to repeat it whenever you need. It takes time, it might not let you feel better right away, but giving yourself grace and practicing stopping will become easier over time, and soon not something you give a second thought to.

@@KeeganActon hoping it doesn’t happen again, but if it does, tall glass of milk with ice is my go-to. Whole milk works best, but any kind will do the trick. Don’t sip it but don’t chug it either.

Every now and then I feel like I live in a castle or mansion and leave things around, don't ever make my bed regardless of the nice beautiful bedding I buy and refuse to do the dishes all while thinking I have a maid that follows me.around and picks up after me. Then I realized that I'm a broke basic bitch and get to doing my dishes and cleaning up. It's a tragedy and more people than you think suffer from it! 😂

Don’t cry Keegan I’m shocked that it usually works for me ! not all the time some days when I wake up after the days I have the headache it seems to still feel like I have a headache and then some times it does feel better after I take a nap or sleep
Next time you have a headache ( I hope you don’t) but if you do just eat alittle something drink water and don’t go directly to bed but ley down and when you’re food settle down then you can go to sleep and hopefully it works but just always remember to get enough and get enough water not too much water but enough water and always make shure that you get a good nap in if your on your day off not doing anything cause I do know that the headache form for when your not drinking enough water or eating enough food or even getting enough sleep
