Nice job i will be making these. A couple of questions. Did you prime and paint before assembling straps? Where did you get your finials? I see the finished planter is raised up a 1/4". Is that recommended? These additional details should give good results on the finished product. Did you use caulk before painting?
THAT IS NOT A VERSAILLES PLANTER. THAT IS NOT A VERSAILLES PLANTER. THAT IS NOT A VERSAILLES PLANTER. I've waded through around 25 articles and videos claiming to show how to build a Versailles planter, about 10 Orange tree planters. Not one of them are actually Versailles/orange tree planters. If you cannot remove the wall of the planter it is not a Versailles/orange tree planter. For goodness sake, here's a few new french words you may like to learn. Facade, faux, veneer.
Beautiful! This is quite a lovely planter and unique looking. Thanks so much for this video.
Disregarding my other post. This is a very attractive planter. Good work. 😊
Great job. I love how you explain everything. I will be making several of these once lumber prices come down some. Thanks for sharing.
Love it! Did you use a special paint to help prevent water damage?
